I am a working with a partner (she is a provider, I am a hobbyist) to publish in a book and/or articles balanced information about sex work in the Internet era, emphasizing the safer and healthier aspects that are enabled by boards like this.
As part of this project, we have developed a Web site,
http://www.myredlightstory.com. On this site we are posting a wealth of information about the industry that we think is both entertaining and helpful. We are also soliciting stories from anybody that wishes to contribute. The idea is to include some of these as illustrations of this world in our material. We offer an option for requesting compensation, subject to what any eventual publisher would be willing to pay for your personal story.
The stories we have on our site so far are listed below. These include contributions we have received so far, as well as extensive and daily searches of the Internet for relevant news, blogs, columns, and so forth.
We are not lifting material from boards like this since we consider that unethical. We are also not looking for explicit material.
If any of you take a moment to look at the site, we would welcome feedback on whether this kind of information is of interest, suggestions on improvements, and whether you have any questions.
Thank you.
