The President's Speech Tonight

From what I can gather, the main crux is to give somewhat legal status to some 5 million "illegals" who have children that are Citizens due to the fact that the children were born here.

They have now fulfilled the objective of having a "anchor baby".

One thing is for sure. We will not know the ramifications of this "historic" Executive Action until 5 or 10 years down the line. If at that time, we once again are faced with several million "illegals" with children born on this side of the River, another President, along with the entire Country, will be faced with exactly the same set of circumstances we are faced with now.

The reason. Because once you get past all the bull shit, nobody is going to do one god damned thing about securing the Border.

Businesses will still have a good source of cheap labor, the Democrats will have a whole new group to promise and pander too, and the unemployment rate in Black America will probably top 25 percent.

Because that is who will loose the jobs.

Years ago, Another Democrat President made the statement, "we will have those n.....s voting Democrat for the next 100 years", after his "landmark" legislation went through. Look what it has got that particular ethnic minority.

I wonder if President Obama, in a candid moment, might say. "We will have those S...s voting Democrat for the 100 years.

The handle has been pulled. The water has swirled. And that big turd that used to be the greatest country on the Planet is heading toward the "septic tank of failed Republics".

Obama once again proves he's a masterful and compassionate politician. He just marginalized the Republicans election wins and put the spotlight back on them. No way they're going to beat Hilary in the general election with this massive power play. Obama calculated the Republican's response to shut the government down and take other draconian measures. He's drawing them out and want the public to see just what kind of obstructionists they truly are.

Just brilliant. He used the Bible against the Republicans in his speech just as I'd been doing on this site today he really boxed them in and it was a masterful speech from a political POV. I don't expect most of you to understand how this game is being played because you're blinded by hatred but I was literally LMAO. It was a great political power play.

and btw what Obama did tonight is simply the right and moral thing to do. Like he said deporting these folks is NOT going to happen so a common sense approach was and is a good idea. Now Obama forced the Republicans to finally get off their lazy obstructionist asses to finally do some work and draft a bill for passage into Law.

Obama is goading the GOP into self destructive behavior and it will work because he's already calculated they can't help themselves due to the Obama derangement syndrome. I just think he's the smartest guy in the room to be honest. There are a few Republican politico's that understand what Obama is doing and how he's baiting the GOP. He's setting them up for failure beautifully.

A group of activists welcomed President Obama’s unilateral changes to immigration policy by saying that it’s not expansive enough.

“Today’s victory is tremendous, but to be real, it is incomplete,” United We Dream managing director Cristina Jimenez said Thursday evening. “But too many of our parents, LGBTQ brothers and sisters and friends were left out. United We Dream doesn’t agree with that decision and we are determined to fight for their protection. Our community sticks together. This is a long-term struggle. We will continue organizing until our entire community can come forward and enjoy the full rights of citizenship.”
