Recently, I have started to make more trips to San Antonio. I like the clientelle and just think San Antonio is a cool city. Since I am not from here I really don't know where the most convienant places are for you guys and I would like to take that into consideration if I am going to be visiting more. Thoughts anyone?

I vote for Airport area and then Medical Center area.

I hear the Medical Center is not a good place to stay right now but I'm not local so I'm not sure.

It really irks me to hear folks from out-of-town saying that all the time. It's like if I were to say, "Somebody got busted in Austin, so Austin is not a good place to hobby right now."

I just had a great, fun and secure time yesterday in the Medical Center area, just as I did last weekend as well.

It is the people, not the place, that make it 'good' or 'bad'.

Anywhere along the north side of town is good.

And yes, the Medical Center area on the northwest side has been getting more that its share of unwanted attention. Yes, FL it is the people and not the place. However, sometimes the place attracts the people and the recent increased LEO activity in the northwest side cannot be ignored.

Consider carefully and I hope your trips are enjoyable and prosperous.

North Central Airport area is a good place. I think most of us here in SA don't like incalls in the downtown area

I agree, I won't go downtown. So for many of us the Riverwalk is NOT the place to be.

That's true, doll.

It's hot with too many girls & LE preying ground.
Plus it's an area that's pretty run down in various spots with low end hotels. NOT an ideal area to stay in.

And that is NOT because of any LE history, but rather because of crappy traffic, parking fees, distance, and the presence of 'undesirable elements'...

And clearly I disagree with WM...as do many of the guys here.

The Med center is HOT with too many gals and YES LE presence.
I know many upstanding gentlemen who refuse to go to Med center to see a provider. For that very reason!!!

i have to agree..medical area has a lot of LE presence.
maybe its bc of too many girls. idk.

location does have an impact for some.
ive gotten some pm's that say if i were in medical center (oddly enough) theyd visit me.
as WM stated..it's an area that's pretty run down in various spots with low end hotels...it isnt the best part of town

theres no way id give up my secure, private, discrete, upscale location to go there.
unfortunately, i wont get to meet those that have an interest.
so it does have its up & downs

just be sure you stay some where North!
east-west...are not good! ..and many do not like downtown (for the reasons already stated)

where ever you choose, be careful.

Any where except airport area or I-10 and Wursbach area would be good. I know providers that have moved from those areas because they have been advertise so much that LE is watching those areas now.

Personally, I like to be familiar with my surroundings......wherever that may be.

I've had 2 appts in the Med Ctr and those will most likely be my last. I've never been familiar w/ the Med Ctr but in the times I've traveled through there, I have to agree w/ the 2 ladies above, in that there are quite a few run down/shady areas in and around there.

I'll most likely never have an appointment out in the Sea World area....that's just too damn far for me. I've made it to Austin in shorter times than I've made it out towards the Sea World area.

Downtown is just a PITA. For me it's the trying to find a place to park that kills it for me, otherwise I wouldn't mind having fun in some of those high rise hotels at night.

I guess I would say, the majority of my time here has been spent along 281 from the airport, north to 1604. That's what I'm familiar with, and that's where I'll do my biz.

Thanks for all the input. It does help when making travel arrangements. I just hope I don't get stood up again

That never happens to me in Austin but happend twice last time. I'm sure there are some fine gentleman that will make up for it! It looks like the airport area wins!

FWIW - IMHO The Med center has been very very good to me.

Just use common sense and all will be fine.
