Default RTM Button

I try to make judicious use of the RTM button, typically reporting RL info on the open boards, ROS or ML info in the open, or threads I believe are in the wrong forum.

Often my notice is addressed, and the thread is moved or the edit is made. I feel I have contributed, assisted.

Some times my notice is ignored. I wonder why but generally do not pursue, assuming I am in error.

Sometimes I do not RTM, unsure if I am in error. Not wanting to cry wold too many time and risk censure.

My Premise, and my Suggestion:

Premise:
1). an informed Board is easier to manage than an uninformed Board;
2.) members who correctly use the RTM button assist the mods in their duties;

Suggestion:
Have moderators provide feedback to board members who take the time to alert the mods to potential problems across the various forums.
For instance:
- in response to an RTM in which the suggested action was taken, a PM:
Thank you for your RTM. The ROS leak has been addressed.
- in response to an RTM in which the member was incorrect, a PM:
Thank you for your RTM. The thread was deemed a COED topic and not Sandbox, per interpretation of Guideline _

Pros and Cons:

The replies will create more work for the mods;
The replies will create more RTM's from membership which will create even more work for the mods;
The replies will assist in training the membership which will result in less incorrect RTM's being sent which will reduce the workload for the mods;
Offering a Thank You when someone assists you is a small and basic civility which has its own reward;
Offering civility to the membership is likely to create a return of civility to the mods, from at least a percentage of the membership;
It's good form;
Instructive or positive communication breeds good will;
Good will binds attachments;
Attachment reduces turnover in membership;
Revenues +
