I actually talked to her earlier this week about seeing her. Glad I didn't, that's a young, dumb, and inexperienced thing to do. I'm sure some guys don't care, but I wouldn't of appreciated it.

Well, it is kind of hard to make a case for discretion since any review you write on ECCIE is 100% viewable to the public.

What do you guys normally do when you a BP ad catches your eye? You come to ECCIE and search for reviews. So, you will be seeing exactly the same thing that is in her pic.

BP doesn't allow links in their ads. If they did, hell I would just put the link to my ECCIE profile in my ad. In which case, any guy viewing my ECCIE ad would see this:

With a single click of the mouse. So honestly, how is her screen shot any different? It seems to me that she simply came up with a creative way to get around BP's ban on including links in ads.

I get what you are saying Sins, and yes anyone can view the same screen shot while here. Just the idea of taking it from a somewhat "private club" to the "public domain" doesn't sit right with me. It's a bit of the breach of trust if that makes any sense.

Anyways, I'm not going to make a big deal of it, just find it pretty tacky on her part.

anything that comes anywhere near encroaching on anonymity in the hobby is out of bounds IMO and although her screen shot in the ad may help her with the BP clients, I believe it will hurt her with ECCIE members. A simple "well reviewed on ECCIE" or the logo gets the message across. Those members who reviewed her did not agree to have their screen names posted on BP. And the privacy of a screen name ain't what it used to be. I read a thread this week where a member threatened to out another member because he had matched his real name with his screen name somehow.
