Behavioral Conditioning as a side effect of hobbying?

So, yesterday, I found myself getting out of the shower and almost instantly being horny. This wasn't the first time it has happened... a lot lately. I notice it more on days that I don't have any hobby time lined up.

The closest explanation that I could come up with is that as a result of always showering right before a hobby experience, my body expects sexual stimulation after a shower.

Men does your dick twitch and get hard every time you go to an atm? Or ladies when you light a candle?

I already know I am nutso, but could this really be a thing?

No, Ze, you are not nuts in this instance. Humans like to think of ourselves as above our animal nature, but we are very easily conditioned by the right stimulus/reward combination. And the reward doesn't get much better/more intense than sex, outside of hard drugs.

No twitch at the ATM but I now associate a shower as the beginning and end of sex. (On the bright side...at least you as a female do not have to worry about sending the wrong signals at the gym)

I get hard when I get text's. I think it is my ATF begging me to come over. But it's usually not. So now, I am used to getting hard when the phone rings. Btw, behavioral conditioning is a side effect of everything, not just hobbying. We see these effects from infancy through death. Everything from a infant's heart rate going up when they're picked up by their father, because daddy is going to play with the baby, to some of the effects we've talked about here with coffee and other events that trigger unconscious responses.

Typically they're stronger when the time between events is short. So the association between shower and sex is stronger when the time between shower and sex is shorter. So being one of the ladies who is always freshly showered would build the association faster.
