Since San Antonio needs some fun (thanks KKA for helping out with the laughs), I am inviting you to a thread I started today when I was bored...we are having a lot of fun with it in Houston.
We all know he will return. He already tried with another handle this eve and it is also sitting on a beach on vacation. When he does return, please refrain from feeding his hate. Most of the infractions and warnings given were from Hobbiests and Providers posting with their emotions and not using common sense.
This is not No Child Left Behind, everyone gets a ribbon for crossing the street. All the grandstanding and mob mentality of Wks, and WQs (White Queens) accomplished was nothing beneficial to the Board, Providers, or Hobbiests. The only thing it did was make The San Antonio COED look like the laughing stock of ECCIE. I enjoy coming to SA to visit and Hobby but why would any Hobbiests or Provider want to with the thought of possible outing?
Ya'll may not agree with what I have said, that's fine. If you do and can't be civil about it, please do not post it in the open but send me a pm.
I seem to remember the OP of the threads that have recently been shuttered claim that threads should not be closed on the request of the person who started them.
There is a word for that.
*BUT* I think that person could have been a bigger person, make a better choice in stopping all the stuff that has made SA a laughing stock.
A fitting tribute that people will see in retrospect.
It's one thing to shut down threads to stifle criticism directed at you. It's another to ask them to be shut in an attempt to curtail further outing.
I'm not going to say much, because it will further aggravate the situation. However, I will say this...KKA was correct. The last thread was the MoST damaging one and caused more outing than anything else, including the post on the outside site.
I believe, it should not only be closed, but deleted. There is a good chance that the original post will reappear at some point. I've dealt with that site before and it is extremely difficult to get something totally removed. Because of the egregious posting of addresses, etc., there may be a chance. They may have done someone a favor, but it's very unusual.
RRs post did nothing but send scores more people to the site. You can still see bits of the original in searches. It's horrible.

hey..... i made a gesture to try to help calm things down a bit..... not remotely because I have any concern for the ability or need to continue the conversation.
I understand position of the board.
In retrospect, considering the fact that Rickyboy returned and posted material he had no access to without the assistance of Slave Guinevere in either forwarding it to him or he having access to her account, it seems apparent that yet another example of Slave's sharing of materials with her ex continued throughout all the discussions. Ricky seems to have made that case point for me.
