If that is the posted rule why is a thread closed that has active particiaption in it?I went to reply and its locked?(Kama's thread)

I just fired off a PM myself to the owners because I think it is a lousy policy.....

That thread has well over a hundred replies and is heading for a few thousand views....

On a weekend? It makes no sense to close it.....

the OP was in for a real shit storm in coming days as more participants not active on the weekend state their views.....

Amidst a bit of the static in the thread there is a lot of useful information and it has been interesting seeing the out of town angles being presented.....

That is a thread that probably needed some moderation and maybe that's too much work to put in but Sixx seemed to be in the thread and on top of things himself.....

If it needed to be locked I would have expected to see him do it.

I'm really shaking my head on this one....

Posted rule is about removing - deleting - threads, not locking them. I can't find any guidelines at all about closing threads, seems to be at the moderators' discretion.
