communicating when a lady isn't feeling well or isn't prepared

What are your thoughts on communicating when a lady isn't at her best? Maybe she's tired, or in the middle of some drama or whatever. Maybe the guy would prefer to wait and see her at a better time, or maybe he needs to relieve some pressure right away. What are some ways to best handle these situations?

My situation is such that I normally can't plan ahead, I have to call a lady and ask "are you free at the moment?". Not long a go I called Jenny Lynn and she said that she was available, but hadn't done her makeup or anything. She was about to pick up her food, which she'd be eating while I was on my way. That was fine with me. It wasn't her makeup I was interested in at the time! I enjoyed seeing her, and I wasn't disappointed that she wasn't dolled up, since she had let me know and offered to be ready for an appointment a couple hours later.

I would have been disappointed if that had been the first time I'd seen her and she hadn't let me know when I called. So that suggests open communication is best.

On the other hand, if a lady has some drama going on but can really put that aside and focus on the session, I don't need to hear about her drama. If she can put on a CONVINCING smile and truly not be distracted, I am kind of paying for a fantasy.

What are your thoughts?

For me the IOP is important. We are having a hobby relationship, not a real one, so I really don't want to hear the drama. I hobby to take a break from the real thing and the drama

That being said, we are people and all people are flawed. Some days are better than other, on both parts.

Have I met ladies not at their best that day? Yes.
Have I met ladies probably at one of their worst moments? Yes
Have I met ladies who seemingly are having a perfect day? Yes

Our communication styles and preferences are different and individual. Some people I can be very open with, others not so much.

I try to be understanding that we are all different and we like and do different things and have good and bad days.

I do believe frank and open communication is best.
