I got an email from an adult site with "Craigslist" in the domain name about advertising there shortly after the shut down of the adult section. I wonder if it's related to the original Craigslist.

Eccie will never be the big target that CL and BP are/were. The difference is simple. On CL or BP, you can find a wide variety of product from rentals to puppies to escorts. Here, there are no puppies. Therefore, nobody can claim that this site is peddling sex in the same place where kids might be going to find a new puppy. Not saying that it will never be a target-- but you get where I'm going with this, I'm sure. Each time that a major board has become a target, its ended up getting tossed out thanks to the good ol' Constitution.

A lot of the CL girls simply moved over to BP--

Maybe if our own AG, Mr. Greg Abbott, would enforce the Child Support laws, then there would be a few less ladies here-- of course, that would involve doing his job OUTSIDE of the public eye, and we just can't have that. No Sir.

I think I saw the "Craiglist" site you are talking about. I have no idea, but my gut says you might want to avoid jumping into anything new until you see others doing it. On the other hand, if everyone follows that advice.....

Blenderhead has nailed it. Anytime someone loudly fights anything, they probably have something to hide. Fighting Prostitution? He is a hobbyist. Fighting Gay rights? He looks for dudes in airport bathroom stalls.

I hope you're right... (Maybe not nationally, but being a regional LE target seems more likely.) With CL & possibly BP out of the picture. eccie becomes IMO a prime target... eccie is probably the largest & most active forum in Texas. Large enough that Cityvibe, Eros, P411, and several other large classified & advertising venues have banner ads on here... (L.E. could post as a hot 18yo spinner with a full menu in the WW... Like we always do we trip over ourselves to be the first one to tap that and write the review... Some will have their guard down, fuck up, say the wrong thing and get popped)

I think almost all businesses would, eventually, 'willingly' cooperate with LE. The power of the state can be overwhelming regardless of any prior intentions. Perhaps we need a constitution to protect us. Oh, yeah, been there, done that ...

I suspect that there are at least a few politicians and cops who are active hobbyists on ECCIE so that day could be awkward for all concerned if they start going after members not to mention the man power required.
