If a client called and offered to take you on a week long cruise, with all expenses paid, would you go?

Guys, would you ever take a provider with you on vacation?

I have taken providers on trips. It can be great fun with the right girl. But I have to know the girl well enough to know with a high degree of confidence that the savak-lasvegas scenario won't happen.

And I would take a girl who appreciates the fact that she is getting (in this case) an all expenses paid cruise, I would not be paying those sky-high advertised overnight rates.

Something just seems weird about having to hire someone to go on vacation with you IMO, if she's a friend and your not paying for her time that's great.

Absolutely. I have a guy I travel with a lot. His wife doesn't like to travel and doesn't like to travel alone. We are great travel companions. We are going to Miami in a few weeks.

But you really have to like each other for an arrangement like this to work out...

Friends is not the man's topic. He asked about taking a PROVIDER on vacation. Maybe he's considering a provider for a trip.

Open communication is the key. You both must know what is expected of each of you BEFORE you leave..even smaller details..also, never under estimate the power of a little alone time while your gone...

The key to traveling with the opposite sex is this...

Give each other some personal space.

Ladies...leave and go get some coffee and read the paper in the morning to let the gentlemen tend to bathroom duties and whatever odd morning rituals he might have...

Gentlemen...get ready for dinner, then excuse yourself and let the lady get ready alone in the room.

If you have different sleeping habits (e.g., he likes silence, I like music) then something simple like an iPad with headphones can save the day.

And last but not least...don't decline sex when your partner wants it...no excuses.
