In this age of communications, when everyone has at least one cell phone, why do the most photogenic girls on Backpage seem to share their numbers? They don't think it lessens their carbon footprint, do they?

why are all the "iso's", & "any info on" threads all about bp girls?...
and most of the bait & switch, bad reviews, alerts...are mostly on bp girls

has ne1 else noticed this?

i think i may need to post on bp, since i am the real deal

Maybe they don't want to use that one phone because it is their personal number. Like what if somebody, for some random reason, searches a number of a girl they suspect to be an escort and the number is posted and it pops up? Now they would know for sure. Or even if they search numbers just for kicks and a number of a friend or family member pops up. That would suck! That's what I'm guessing.

im seriously considering posting on bp...but for all the reason pepper has mentioned...i havent bc i dont have a number id want to post

and i wonder if i get a (number, which is easy to do)...i wonder if most of the calls would be a waste of time ...
(as in, asking for services offered, not wanting to provide refs, maybe a guy just wants to "hear" my voice, just talk, etc etc etc....)...is this the case pepper? i think youve posted on bp right?

oh no, Pepper, that can't happen. They disguise the number by writing it as:
two one 4 **7 eight $# 5 sixxx

I actually have several really good regulars that I met off of BP and Cl (when that was still around). The only difference is that most do not have references and there are quite a few that want to know what services you actually provide (I just hang up on them :P) You just need to be really careful with everything that has been going on. Like me, for example, I used to let everyone come to my place but now, if I am meeting you off of BP, I will meet the person at another incall the first time, if I like the person and the person calls again, then the person can come over to my home ( Id rather do the appointment here). If the person is P411 or eccie w refs, then can come to my place the first time. It just depends what works for you. I can post here and may or my not get calls that day. If I post on BP and post a few times in a day then I will get appointments for sure. If you think about it, there are risks on any site anyway.

They share the same number because they may be an agency, or friends working together, or be working a scam (bait and switch). Who knows, their reasons are specific to the user.

What matters is that the legitimate ladies make their way to this board (and other popular boards), eventually.

I know that the thrill of the hunt lives in all of us. We are always wondering if we'll find that diamond in the rough. The stakes can be pretty high because you never know what you will get. Hopefuly you can walk away unharmed.

I peruse the BP ads every now and then not because I am looking for someone to see but out of curiosity. If I see ladies sharing phone numbers or running different ads under different names there is no way I would take a chance with one of them.

The very first girl I saw, while on a trip to Dallas, I met thru CL. I suppose I was naive and I also guess I was lucky. She and I became good friends because after a few visits she realized I wasn't BSing her in any way. I was just a nice guy looking for some entertainment. And I ttreated her like a real person, with respect and courtesy. Sounds obvious, but I think there are alot of jerks around here who think women are property. We went to lunch, dinner, went to movies, even played golf together. All off the clock.

Now that I have been around a bit, I would be scared to death to try BP or CL. I might get lucky again, have that feeling of finding the proverbial diamond in the rough. But I would petrified that I was walking into a sting.

So, MsPrittiKitti, I think guys look there hoping for that added intrigue of finding someone know one else knows about--sort of like opening that big present on Christmas morning when you have no idea what's inside. Or for that matter, the guys who do the streetwalking scene hope to get lucky--TALK ABOUT HOLY SHIT SCARY!!!!!!!! But to each their own.

Some of the girls here, while safe, seem to have so many reviews that the feeling that they have been rode hard and put up wet surrounds them. For many guys (ok--me), that's a turnoff. The unreviewed girls on BP, while scary probably give some of the guys the hope that not too many guys have seen them.

I don't know. Kinda rambling answer to both questions.

Former ASPD member, new to eccie. I can't understand why so many requests for information about BP women when there are so many wonderful ladies here in eccie. Maybe it's the excitement of the unknown and the thrill of the unexpected but I want to be safe and know what I'm getting.

That's really unfair. Think about what you just said. If a provider doesn't have any reviews, then she is unsafe to see. But, if she has reviews, too many guys have "done" her, and she therefore is nasty.

I'm amazed to hear you make claims such as this.
When in fact you've reviewed & even made comments about how you can't wait to to see her again. A lady who brags about the 100's of reviews she's received in the 1 year she's been around.
Yet your repeated comments on her reviews doesn't indicate that she's rode hard & put up wet and thus her 100+ reviews not a turn off for you!!
