My suggestion is to study Ashley Anders, one of the best. She is on perhaps her third or fourth name and is beacoups more money than when she started. That was a long time ago but talk about a bargain. Ashley started slow, built her business at a certain price point, then reinvented herself with a new name and new price point once she had proven herself. She built regulars each step of the way and truly mastered her craft so that today she can charge a lot more than when she started. She gets her fee and no one complains. It doesnt happen overnight but if you truly want to succeed, both economically and professionally, there is a good example to follow.

Maybe she could get a green landing strip to guide the leprechauns in.

You are a real good looking girl, I will agree with the change in look, loose the hair and go more conservative if you want to attract the deep pocket executive and not the young and not so deep pocket guys, but at the same time your youth its what attracts me. also I will not listen to some of the others ladies that tell you not to lower your rates at their own level because then and only then you will take sdick out of thir mouths, so do what the hell you want and summarize and make your mind, but I read me good advice, take some and run with it.

I actually like the green hair look as well. However, you should do whatever you need to to get the type of clientele you're looking for.

In any business, if you want to attract more clients, you lower your rates or raise your service. And in this business service isn't just the BCD part - it's how easy you are to book with, when you're available, are you ready on time, etc.
One odd thing: Your rates are listed at $300/hr, but both of your reviews are for $160 sessions. If you're offering less expensive options, you need to let the world know.

Her recent ads have said "ask about my new lower rates". I think she is letting people know.

It should be obvious that anyone saying do not drop your rates, when the OP is saying she is having trouble keeping the wolf from the door, is either deluded or had never been evicted before.
Every business drops prices to "STAY" in business....or they go out of business.
Consider the profound suggestion to have lots of money stored away...
Thats a great idea, if the OP had that situation...she would likely not be a provider at all...she could just retire...just like all of us.
What you are hearing is a variety of perspectives from people in different situations.
Stick to reality..all businesses operate the same.
First, You must create demand. The tools you have to do this are your lovely self and your wonderful personality. Advertise SUPER specials.!! 50% off..!!
Get a free puppy with each hour....
Come up with something your fellow providers are NOT doing.
If you are almost broke...run a 150/hr special and see if you can get back on track.
Second, Convert the Demand...get the interested callers to actually come to see you.!
You must PROVIDE GREAT SERVICE.!! MAKE THEM REMEMBER YOU.!
Third, Make arrangements for repeat business. Give them a deal they can't refuse and make it easy for them to get what they want. Don't let them get away without scheduling the next meeting.
DO NOT:
Listen to things like, if you lower your prices you can't go back up...BULLSHIT.! Get the business.
It is slow everywhere...BULLSHIT...guys are fucking mouths, pussies and asses every day.
Allow yourself to confuse YOUR value with the prices you charge. They are not connected.
You have a Marketing and sales problem...this is the easiest problem in business to solve.
You can get back on track within a week as soon as guys know you are in BUSINESS...and not in some stupid competition with other providers about price.

You could try responding to calls and messages. That might be a good place to start.

Some things I agree with, some I do not. Evidently she did have a marketing problem, but by now it may have been resolved. She hasn't come back into the thread with an update. We would very much like to know if things have been improving, RHiANNON.
EVERY business does NOT necessarily drop their prices to stay in business. They often just diversify, or, as you said, offer extra incentives or fill a demand not met by others. But yes, sometimes a rate break is justified and smart, depending upon how it's handled. I am not sure what you mean by her not being "in some stupid competition with other providers about price" yet saying she should cut her price. That's contradictory. You'll have to expound on that, and explain why it's "stupid." She's in competition with the going rate for services in her area, therefore other providers. She hasn't announced that she's retired, her account's still active, so obviously she's in business, so I don't understand what you mean by letting guys know she is "in BUSINESS." Are you saying that cutting her rates by 50% means she's serious about providing? The logic doesn't follow for such a drastic action.
You say it isn't slow, that guys are ******* various body parts every day in every way, but at what price point? The economy has had a profound effect on the adult entertainment world, and that's a fact. If she hasn't established a core of regulars, then she does have a problem. HOWEVER, to expect a girl to cut her rates by 50% all at once seems severe. She may need to rethink her business plan, but if she goes TOO low, it will only hurt her in the long run. This business is not just about services, but the perception of them. Tell me that gentlemen aren't going to think a lady who was at $300 an hour but suddenly willing to take $60 for a BNG that she's never offered before isn't desperate? That they won't treat her differently, with less regard?
I respect your opinion, rhino, but I'm not deluded, and have never been evicted (and in fact maintain 2 residences, my incall and my cottage in the country), so I must be doing something right. Nothing personal, but wouldn't I, and other successful providers, be equipped to advise her based on our experience?
I'm not arguing the fact that she DOES have to adjust something, her rates and/or rethink her presentation, but she has to be careful to go about it properly to make sure it doesn't have repercussions she will later regret. Specials, rather than abrupt rate drops, are the way to go at the moment. She can phase in a new rate structure over time, if she so desires. A new website, and new photos, would be the perfect opportunity to retool her approach and her considerations for services. (As far as I can tell she STILL doesn't have a website, and that's a huge marketing lapse.)
One last thing: consistency. Since, as blowpop states, her rates still say $300/hour and yet her recent reviews are at $160 an hour, right there we have a contradiction, so she has to make absolutely sure her reviewers are aware that's it's a special, or she needs to make revisions on her profile immediately and not just in her ads telling gentlemen to "ask about my new lower rates." (Recently I've had a problem with some reviews of lower-priced sessions under "special circumstances," so PLEASE, gentlemen, when you review a provider, indicate in the PUBLIC portion of the review, not just the ROS, if this was an exception to the norm, and explain. We ladies would be most grateful.) I did note that she isn't making use of the line on her ECCIE Showcase offering specials, and she should.
