The Politico money wasn't USAID. It was active subscriptions across multiple agencies for Politico Pro. USAID had 2 annual subscription for E&E, a Politico subsidiary in 2023 and 2024.

Despite claims with 'big dollars' to grab headlines, I've not seen any objective data on what percentage of USAID spending has been characterized as 'waste'

Hell, I 'waste' money every week with near $10 cups of coffee from Starbucks. But is it a significant percentage of my spending? No.

In fact, shouldn't we be upset that the government providing him with housing in the first place is waste. After all, he only earned between $6.3 million and $9 million in income in the last two years.
