Serious Question

Too much weird stuff going on lately to not be super careful. We're only paranoid if they AREN'T out to get us, but we know that they are!

I don't think Dorothy overreacted at all. I also would have left. The gent should have started the conversation off with, "Hey, there's a cop here being nosy, let's delay a while..." or something to that effect.

I had a similar issue come up recently, although I don't use a PI, but reserve mainstream accommodations. A nervous newbie pulled in and saw what looked like a police vehicle parked in the far corner opposite my room, someone just sitting in it, a la stakeout. He, of course, bolted, but was polite enough to call me from down the road.

I got dressed, grabbed my ice bucket, and nonchalantly strolled outside on the way to the ice machine. Turned out it was a decommissioned PD car (they are often sold at auction with emblems removed but original ownership still quite obvious), guy in the driver's seat on a cell having a smoke (not allowed in the motel) and arguing with what sounded like a girlfriend over the phone. From a distance it WOULD have looked suspicious.

I called my fellow back and offered to meet him at a nearby coffee shop, as I knew he had driven a long way. He decided to come back to the motel, parked next to the car, which was by then empty, we met in the public picnic area, chatted a bit, retired to my room, had a drink and a jolly good time.

I keep forgetting the danged [ ] and using { } or ( ), so screw it. I don't use my cell with its chihuahua-sized keyboard for posting usually. Just happen to be killing some time, but enough of this and out to enjoy the fresh air.

It's paranoia, if the Constable were there for an arrest it would have been for someone not paying, unruly, or illegal substances.

What he means, if I may, is that you said you made the appointment thinking it was someone else. If you did your screening like you say you did (and found nothing absolute, I mean) then how did you think the appointment was with someone else. LL is asking Did he use a name other than the tard we all perceive to be the same fucktard who wrote the PI alert ?

That day I was overwhelmed with screening & I made the mistake of not putting the numbers in my phone like I usually do... I got him & the other tard mixed up I was just doing to much & time wasn't my friend yesterday.. Something told me to look back at my screening & that's when I realized I was a dumb ass.. But no he didn't use a different name but he has the same name as the other tard that's how I got mixed up.. Not handle but name they use

I think that whatever super-duper task force they are running isnt jgoing to go away soon just because the SB is over. I DID read in the media that they noted CL and not BP, though. I thought that was interesting because there are significant differences between the two in the subject matter ar hand....

Best option is to use verified P and triple-stamp the double-stamp on screening.....
