I thought you were a brave, intelligent man who enjoys being a smartass, With all the bravado and soldier in you, turns out you're just a pussy. I broke my neck 32 years ago and have met many disabled vets over the years. Talk about courage! You, sir, don't deserve to hold their brain bucket! Did you offer to execute everyone else in your company?

Point me!

You sir don't know what the fuck you're on about. You don't know the first thing about him and couldn't be more wrong. I know exactly how much his men meant and still do mean to him, you haven't a fucking clue. You may think him to be an asshole on here, but one thing he isn't is lacking in courage or a pussy. Get your fucking facts straight before spouting off such a load of bollocks.

Wow....she really does have strong feelings for him.

Wish I had a woman who would defend me like this. Well, OK, I do....but not someone I want to be with all the time.

Valerie, was I speaking to you? If you think I have no clue, it is the young and boisterous who is clueless. You have no clue if I served or not and Wakeup is the only one who can defend his stance on the matter.

Wakeup, your use of the word crippled meant anything that would not be exactly how he stood before you at the time, and vice versa. Are you saying if you both lost a limb, a hand, a few fingers, or God forbid an injury that may, or may not put either of you in a wheelchair, then neither of you wanted to live? If so, hen I stand by my statement. Do I understand a pact between brothers in arms? DEFINITELY! Do I know the difference between living and a living hell? I do. I can understand, after seeing first hand what an IED, a mortar round, or a sniper rifle, to name a few, can do, I understand the request. Hell, would you ask a friend to kill you if a car accident left you in a similar state? For either of you to judge what the other can still lead a productive life with, or not, and end each other's life at that moment seems cowardly.

The funny thing is from my experience, when solders & brothers make such pacts it is often made during the heat of battle or shortly thereafter...... The psyche of a soldier while in combat is something that those of us who were never in it could never understand..... Watching some of your brothers lose their loves and some injured so severly yet left barely alive is often a thought one cannot allow themselves to think about..... I'm not one to question bravery or courage of someone who chooses this fate in a time such as that......... That is not to dismiss those who live with such injuries every day..... But courage has many faces.....

I know I'm going out on a limb,
on just a few words and a whim,

It's not that he is scared of a bleeder,
Just that he has the mind set of a leader,

I can still respect surcher's courage,
and understand Wakeup's wordage.

Perhaps a situation makes him a burden,
or make others carry an emotional curtain.

Anyone who goes to fight for our nation,
forever deserves our full standing ovation,

We are here because of both of you men,
so why all the words of bickering then?

Lets all just pull the bills from our wallets,
but not the ones that are smallest,

Thoroughly texting, typing talking to tails,
Research, deciphering wins from the fails.

And if revenge is all that can matter,
Here is an idea for his birthday platter,

Send him a cake with a "model" inside,
The "one" with a rifle, run, and then hide.

Please explain to me why I have to defend anything about myself...to anyone...I'm content to sit back and let you look back at your post and try and come up with reasons where I might be justified in your mind, like you're doing now.

I kind of understand your outburst, you being crippled tends to leave yourself open to experiencing strong emotions when confronted with my feelings about being crippled. Again, I sort of understand it. I don't agree with it, you shouldn't let anyone on the Interwebs affect you so strongly, and I don't forgive it, but I somewhat understand it. My advice is to take a few deep breaths and calm down before you shout at the rain next time.

Nice hijack by the way...never expected this turn, but I enjoy where it's going...carry on.
