This the most disappointing thing I've ever seen you write. God help you and this country. All joking and sarcasm aside, this is some serious shit. Basically my livelihood and many thousands of others depend on the outcome. If it goes bad most of you ladies may need a new occupation or move.

Take it easy Bigsexy. Texas will be red. If I got worked up at everyone who blew off their right to vote I'd be pissed off 24/7. But dude, I do agree with you. It's a shame.

Firstly, why would the election results affect the hobby in any way? I can maybe see people being worried about their financial future, but other than that, I don't think it will have any effect.
Secondly, I love how you assume we are all uneducated. I guess the idea that an intelligent and educated woman freely choosing to do this work, is too far fetched?

I wasn't joking, and God's mercy nor anyone else's is unnecessary. Been said that we get the government we deserve, so perhaps if more people didn't just automatically toe the party line, took a stance of "NO MORE!" it might send a message.
I didn't "blow" my vote. Both candidates have obvious failings, and in the end NEITHER deserved my check mark in their box. WHY would I give my stamp of approval to someone I completely dislike and distrust simply because that person is a Republican or Democrat, man or woman? I made a conscious decision (shared by many in this country disgusted by the last year of contentious shenanigans and revelations ) to protest by not voting for either of them. Do not assume that my levity means I didn't consider this seriously.
The President of the United States is becoming a figurehead, and may very well someday evolve into a position more like the "ruler" of England, purely symbolic, unless things change. If he/she can't get past a gridlocked congress who blocks programs at every turn based on party affiliations and lack of compromise, what good is our present system of government? We need an in-depth overhaul, about as likely as my dog is to become president, but maybe the unhappiness and unrest of the country will filter through to our leaders, and one way of doing this is by NOT conforming to the standard party structure. (I didn't think any of the miscellaneous independents represented well, either, so why choose any of them?) Telling the powers that be that they are ALL unsatisfactory means something, too.
The current setup in which large influxes of money dictate participation and success primarily by the 2 largest parties bites, as does the electoral college, which ignores the popular vote and anybody who lives in a U.S. territory. (So, the millions of people in Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, you're born on what is considered American soil, can enlist to fight and die for our country, but can't cast an actual vote for president or congress? Yeah, that's fair.)
Now, who I voted for on the rest of the ballot is a different matter, as those decisions affect us far more directly and practically on localized levels.

Ideas and thoughts like that are why we are in this quandary. I've served this nation as a soldier and law enforcement officer. This is the same shit I got from these beautiful liberals when I came back. Basically it was 'fuck you' and you were stupid for doing it. And whether you like or not "God Help You". He does have a say in this. I took an oath to defend the Constitution from enemies, both foreign and domestic. The biggest enemy today is domestic. I was super depressed for years after I got back and it will not happen again. Myself and tens of thousands of my brothers and sisters stud up before and will not allow this country to disintegrate. Miss VH if you don't have a job to make money to pay for pussy your livelihood and lifestyle goes to hell. Sorry for the rant but not for the message.

Too many incorrect assumptions about what people think have lead to many wars and confrontations, foreign and domestic.
I respect your message, but mine is equally valid. I don't call anyone's viewpoint stupid, nor would I ever tell them to "F- off" simply for their politics, and am truly sorry you've experienced that. My family has served and defended our nation for generations, but STILL comes back to the point of my not being willing to sell my own conscience out and vote for someone I don't believe in, nor should I have to, eh? I bless the U.S. for allowing me that right. And who or what anyone worships as a deity is a matter of personal freedom also protected by the Constitution.
HOW I voted does not at all mean that I don't care and am not patriotic, or I wouldn't have showed up to vote at all, would I? Vilifying others because they walk a different path seems to be a major problem on this site and in this country. The widespread attitude of disrespect and general national intolerance worries me more than the ideologies of Republican, Democrat, Green, or Independent.
As has been said before, can't we all just get along?
Regarding the Hobby and the presidential election, the pursuit of pleasure for pay is and will still be largely illegal for some time to come no matter WHO sits in the Oval Office. That matter is regulated by the states, or Nevada wouldn't have any cat houses purring.
Put a Hobbyist in the governor's chair of all 50, I say! THAT would be pussy progress.

I served for eleven years and had two tours...I never experienced any of your Vietnam-esque hatred, and I'm standing up for my country to keep it from disintegrating and voting, but I'm betting my vote is completely opposite of yours...
Keep the righteous indignation where it belongs...pointed back at you...

There is no indignation here, righteous or otherwise. Look how much your two tours got you over there. Thanks to your boss look where we are today. A lot of wasted lives for nothing. So let's keep the status quo either by omission or on purpose and loose what we supposedly were/are fighting for. Hoo Rah!!!!! Whores follow the money.....God bless 'em!!!!!!!.....

I'm a veteran myself. Being a whore doesn't exclude one from that. You, myself, Wakeup... we all fought so that Fancy could have the absolute right to make the choice that she made. A good heavy swarth of veterans and active duty that I know are all voting 3rd party. I will not mention who I voted for, simply because one of the great things about this nation is that we have the right to vote anonymously and do not have to worry about anyone showing up at our door to cart us off for voting for the "wrong" candidate.
