You're kidding right? You realize this stuff happens EVERY day from the time we're born. "Don't pick your nose", "don't wet your pants", "don't smoke", "don't do drugs", "don't eat oysters in Texas in months that don't have an 'R' in them"...
It's EVERYONE'S responsibility to tell each other things that will lead to the betterment of our society. The problem all of you have is that you refuse to tell each other that, because you're either 1) guilty of the bad behavior yourself, or 2) you're afraid of offending someone. I'M here telling you. Now tell yourself, otherwise the government is going to spend more of my tax dollars to fight the problem you're gleefully ignoring because you believe everyone has a right to not be offended in this world...
Fuck that noise.

Psssst..... nachos are fattening!

I wasn't insulting a group, just Wakeup. He's used to it, I'm sure.
He wants to ban fat people, period. Going by his cause and effect ideology.....get rid of people bigoted against fat people, get rid of fat people....get rid of fat posters, and you get rid of posters who want to get rid of fat posters....
Okay, I haven't read this whole long thread, so I may be repetitive; If we want to get rid of fat, get rid of fatty food and the constant and almost subliminal advertising that seeps into the parts of our brains that affect appetite and satisfaction. Interesting note: 80% of food in our supermarkets now wasn't there 10 years ago.
Quote in an article from Michael S. Lasky, author of "The Complete Junk Food Book," "We are all proselytized at an important age into consuming puppets of the junk food barons. Our parents inadvertently help them by buying their products as a form of 'reward' food. We grow up unaware that we have slowly acquired a junk food habit by the subtle forces of advertising. By the time we are capable of making a decision about junk food, we are already hooked from years and years of indulging in what we had been told by TV was good food.'
The article goes on to say, "Actually, very little "good food" is advertised. Eighty percent of all food advertising is for blatant junk foods. Most of the remaining 20% is for convenience foods that are often little better than the candy, cakes, and snack foods which make up the majority of food advertising. In fact, out of the top 100 most heavily advertised food products, over 30 of them have absolutely zero food value, except for empty calories. The majority of Americans receive almost all of their nutritional information from advertising. In other words, the typical person only knows as much about nutrition and good food as the advertisers want to tell him. When asked how good a job food manufacturers do in telling the public about good nutrition, a leading advertising executive for a convenience food company said: 'The job of product advertising is to persuade and sell, not to educate.'"
Interesting stuff. For more:

I still want nachos. Just less of them.

I can say I have done my part.......
Hey, fuckface , stop acting like you are ""captain save a "fat" girl"" --
Get a fucking life, or get laid, one of the two!! Or eat some thing other than what you eat that has made you on edge all the time.... you don't like "fat" girls, we got it..
I don't like, IDIOTS, or rudeness, or ignorance, or prejudice... but yet, I live in this world, not on cloud 9 behind my computer so... I deal with it.. YOU should too.
I pay taxes, pay medical insurance, yet... I wish my money went towards people like you who can not seem to get a clue and who live with thinking they are "right" just because they opened their mouth... Atleast when mine is open.. it's for a good cause!!!
Try to justify YOUR behavior all you want.. Your original post, was nothing to get upset about. The shit you have managed to come up with since then, shows your character, and who you truly are.. MY WEIGHT does not, which is why I have a place on this board, on this earth, FAT OR SKINNY. In todays world, in real life, I bet you get swallowed up by the real men around you daily... probably why you chose to sit here all day and start shit with people..
GET A LIFE.

Wakeups rants are not going to make one soul lose an ounce. People have to realize what they want for themselves not make decisions based on some dude on a health kick typing on a hooker board.
It aint that serious.

By that logic, then, it's okay for this board and every other escort board and anything related to the Hobby be banished because it's "bad behavior" and its elimination leads to the "betterment of society." Whose society? Prostitution is legal in many places. I wonder how many John Q. Public Americans really want their tax dollars spent by the Vice Squad?
What's unacceptable in one locale is, or was, perfectly fine in another. Culturally and historically, being overweight has been considered a sign of heath, wealth, beauty, and prosperity. I would have been a GODDESS had I been born in the right place at the right time. Crap.
We can argue this until our fingers bleed from typing, but in 10 years, according to U.S. Census Population extrapolations, the national food will be a burrito, anyway, and we'll be discussing how unattractive skinny white girls are. (There ya go, 'nother thread for us to fuss over.)

Here's an interesting video. Aside from his animal rights views, he's got some really interesting and valid points regarding nutrition and overall health. Especially around 26:45 and 31:45. Give it a look.

Wake up I know you have a right to you opionion ( I helped make sure of that and it sounds like you did too ).I also think people havea right to live their owm lives. As far as paying for this with our tax dollars , their not going to lessen or spot any taxes if everyone weighs 100lbs..Remember the toll road ?
Texas rainy day fund? ( 01 or 11 Billion our money ,I don't need them to hold it for me how about you ).
If they save any of our tax money they are going to take it and spend it seeing BBW's.
PS. I like big girls and I know of some that are loosing weight.I encourage them if thats what they want. If they don't it's not my business.

Why on Earth would I care if providers post their ads? So I guess my answer is "indifferent"....... I don't like Fiat's.... but I don't get upset when I see an ad for them on TV......
Now.... On a MOD note........ Remember folks.... BE CIVIL!! Name calling on EITHER SIDE of the fence will NOT be tolerated..... we are still in the midst of some very good info and back and forths..... we do NOT need the petty name calling........
Back to your regularly scheduled discussions......

Yet, you continue for days to have(in your opinion) not so intelligent conversations with the people you feel are NOT intelligent??? and that makes you??? NOT INTELLIGENT.
May I also add, most of the conversation here has been by men, so your saying they are all fat too???

I'm not asking for less taxes Clark...just not to spend it on fat people who are too lazy to unfuck themselves and their preventable problem.
Fancy, you do realize that fat people being signs of wealth and prosperity was simply because those people were rich enough to be lazy...they were rich enough to eat more than other people...and they weren't loved, they were despised. They weren't rich or prosperous because they were fat...they were fat because they were rich and prosperous. Unfortunately in our society today, you can be a fat lazy slob just by being poor...

I wasn't using a cause and effect analogy, just making a statement, but many people despised them out of jealousy. They were the standard of the time, so people aspired to that. Not so sure that some of them weren't loved. Most famous art, paintings and sculptures from ancient Greece through the Renaissance well past the Reubensque era, shows very curvaceous women who would be considered plus-sized, possibly obese today. Interesting how near-anorexia has been encouraged only over the last century to become synonymous with beauty, but thankfully, that seems to be changing as more REAL women with natural, filled-out bodies take their places in the spotlight.
What it comes down to, really, is health. Being overweight compromises the body's systems, but that changes from person to person. I'm never going to be a size 8-10, not even a 14, but maybe a 16, still in the "fat girl" category, but that doesn't mean I would be unhealthy. Most standard charts say a girl my height should weigh around 150. Ridiculous for me! I'd look like I was dying. Who decides this stuff?
As long as a physician determines that a person is in good heath, and there are many "fat people" who have no heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, or breathing problems, what they tip the scales at is between them and their dietician. Granted, those with problems, like I was started to have, should make an effort to take control if they want to live longer and enjoy their existence to the fullest. (I always hated being the "slowpoke" who had to rest frequently when out with others. Hiking up Diamondhead in Oahu was one of the prouder moments of my "realigned" life.)
The biggest single thing I think would help the problem? GET OFF THE FRICKIN COMPUTER. Lord knows I need to as my behind is expanding exponentially with the hours I spend in front of the keyboard. Technology can be blamed for the ruination of the American waistline, as well as other negatives. (Did you hear on the news that cell phones can cause facial skin sag? EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!) Seems like we need to stay connected more and more to our electronics just to make a living and keep up with the world, resulting in less and less contact with our families, friends, fresh air and good ol' nature. Would that cause and effect be cultural, societal, scientific, or instigated by Best Buy, HP, Sony, Dell, and Apple?
Going swimming. See y'all later.
