Im sure all of us have heard the silly criticism about our "hobby" life and how "dangerous, pathetic, and desperate" we are because we enjoy seeing providers. its funny because the guys who claim they get "free sex" are the ones who bitch about how they spent so much money on their SO hoping to get laid lol how do u guys handle these fools who try to condemn our hobby adventures?

also wouldnt the guys who spend so much cash hoping to get laid also be seen as "desperate losers"? since they are hoping they can get inside the panties? all the cash they've been spending would've been used for an hour with a provider.


also what i hate is how civil women keep using their feminist agendas to say "oh men who use escorts are selfish ppl who hate women and see them as sex objects" wtf? how r we showing hatred towards women? we are simply just meeting new ppl, whats the big deal? i guess their mad becuase their bfs are tired and bored of relationships and are seeking variety of women from hobbying.

There is no absolute in this. Many men here are in fact losers who can't get a woman to deal with their "You must kiss my azz and stroke my ego" ways, but the vast majority of men I choose to spend time with are in no way like the above.

They are normally not career hobbyists on the boards all the time, don't gripe about every little thing or make demands that are not realistic, and see this business for what it is....a business! They are humble, hard working men who are just looking for a little fun now and then with NSA, and don't come with all the drama and bs.

So even though you have the few that do fall into the desperate loser category, I doubt that being in the hobby is what classifies them as such. They were wacked long before they ever hired an escort lmao!

Well there will always be people who judge anyone in this industry, they have one idea in their narrow-minded heads of the sort of people we are....It's interesting you posted this because I actually have an entire chapter in the book that I am writing about common misconceptions of the men/women in this industry...

I know it can be quite frustrating for some, just try and not let it bother you so much, it just comes with the territory unfortunately, and if you find that you can't handle it then perhaps think about doing something different?

Got into with this one guy at work one time about this subject, finally told him whether he likes it or not he was paying for it in some way or another. Told him I see several different ladies while paying for it while he is only seeing one, night after night after night. Love this hobby.

The Hobby World is permiated with as varied population as the general populus. No doubt, there are men who have no luck at all with civilian women, and the only hope of having any sexual satisfaction, (with another person0, is through a Provider. Then there are those that are in a SO relationship, that might be great in all respects except for the intimate part. Many men are so darned busy in other endevours that a real relationship is difficult.

Some are like me, older, a widower, just trying to enjoy the companionship of a great Lady with no hassles, no commitments, just plain ole fun.

Of course, many are just plain horny. As long as they can scrounge up the "gift", they will hobby.

I say f*#@ 'em! I told a friend of 10 years what I do and he jumped my shit saying I take advantage of "damaged, dr***ed out women". We don't speak anymore because he saw fit to judge me. Yet his baby momma has a problem herself. Another friend is FINALLY divorcing his psycho wife because she called the cops pressing charges on him forcing him to seek anger management and put him on anti-depressants. And he's just about as laid back as myself. So you do the math.

Men who partake (I hate the word "use") providers are obtaining companionship/intimacy on terms that do not entail a lot of drama. How many times has a guy found a lady via some dating website or a club etc.. who later turned to be clingy, or wanted to change him into what SHE wanted.

News flash, the guy over 30, he is not interested in changing a lot.
Also, if he has a good career and income, he can pick and choose who he shares his place with, including his bed.

There is an old saying that goes "there is nothing more dangerous than a man with a complete set of tools and idle time" I have imagined what I would do should I win the Lotto. No need for the 9-5 job, nice house some place a couple of cars etc... all that then comes the fun.... I would pick my ATF's and set appointments for over nights for 2-3 nights a week.. (a different one each night so to speak) etc...

I mean look at the movie "Pretty Woman" not a bad deal for both.. and it was not always sex.....

I am all for the hard working woman in the the business world, and I support them because it means their life is on their terms.

But do not try to change us.... we are simple creatures, so quit trying to complicate us.

Women who look down upon guys who partake of providers just do not get it.. those are the very same drama filled ladies we try to avoid. I would not consider anyone that I have met in the hobby a desperate loser, hobbiest and provider alike.
Some people just don't mature past highschool, and it's a shame....I would hate to be like them and feel a need to put someone down that they don't understand just so their perception of themselves is left intact.
