Common Problems For The Ladies
I was thinking today that a common problem providers and possibly ladies in general have must be with men is when men start to believe that the provider is their girl friend.
Ladies, do you encounter this situation often? Do you have a customer and things are working well enough for you to see him often, but let's say that inside his head, he's starting to believe the fantasy you are providing.
He's starting to think of you as his personal GF.
The first part of the question is specifically, is that a recurring problem for you or a rare instance?
Secondly, the next part of the question is how do you deal with it?

It's more common than one might think.I think the worse case that I ever had was a gentleman in Montreal that I would see.He had gotten to the point where we would see each other every weekend~all weekend. And then he would call during the week to see what I was doing or needed anything.
Sure,it was fun and gotta love the fact that you are dealing with a person that you already know. But when it gets to the point when someone tells you that they want to leave their wife, its time to end.
Unfortunately, his daughter had a terrible accident and was in the hospital for a long period of time. That is when we talked and decided it was best to never see each other again.
I was lucky with him because he wasn't some crazy guy.I know a girl tht had to move out of the state and uproot her kids out of school because of a guy.He found her and some how was able to find out info about her immediate family and called her parents. He was a creepy one.

Solution
I think the solution is better communication.
If the provider could simply sit the customer down and explain what their relationship really is and tell him point-blank that if he can not accept those limitations then she will have to stop seeing him.
Some providers will string a guy along just to get his money and making him believe that maybe there really is something in the relationship for him to pin his hopes on.
But then when he discovers the truth, then things can get really ugly!

Its a thin line between a regular and a stalker. Do not tiptoe around the line. Do not cross the line.

Invisible Line
That is true.
However, the line is in fact, invisible.
That is what makes the boundary definition such a challenge!

What? Are you kidding me?
No, the line is definitely not invisible.
All of use who possess any amount of common sense will know what behavior is acceptable and what is not.
Then there are those miscreants who choose to ignore the line they know exists and cross it anyway.
Invisible? A challenge?
Please! It has been my experience that those are just some of the bullshit excuses I have seen used by the miscreants to explain away their bad behavior.

Damn straight.
I think we need to think about one word here 'hobby'
Hobby:
An activity or interest pursued outside one's regular occupation and engaged in primarily for pleasure.
No where in hell do I see the word relationship in the definition. Either deal with it....or get a new hobby...like trying to find a girl.

We are in the business of providing "intimacy", something some of our clients rarely get from the "real world"
Sometimes a gentleman's thinking will get clouded by what they may perceive to be real feelings from a girl who is just very good at her job.
It is then Our job to diffuse the situation.
Sit the client down and have a talk with him, make sure he understands that this is business and nothing more. If he doesn't understand and still acts as though it's more than a professional relationship then I would have to cut off contact.
Afterall, if a girl really does have feelings for you she wouldn't still expect the envelope.

As for your comment about providers stringing a hobbyist along...no, if you're that obtuse...then, perhaps you deserve what you get. I think most hobbyists are secure and intelligent enough to know what they're getting into. However, there are those select few hobbyists that don't want to take responsibility for the poor choices they make, and see themselves as victims, then blame the provider for their troubles.
And, Fast Gunn...since this thread is titled "Common Problems For The Ladies" I'll tell you one major problem I have...and that is running across a racist hobbyist who has no affinity for ethnic groups...particularly Asian...and who is so obtuse you have no clue who you offend nor do you care. This is truly offensive...and I'm not even Chinese!

My experience has been that almost every time the hobbyist thought we were in a relationship.....it IMMEDIATELY meant (to him) that the envelope was no longer necessary.....I of course would make it clear IMMEDIATELY that the envelope was required, even tho I may really enjoy their company. unfortunately, at this point, I have already passed on making appts with other(s) because I had scheduled this appt.and I got to walk away in worse financial shape than before the appointment.
it is frustrating that the hobbyists could think that my bills pay themselves.....or do they think that my landlord would accept a pic of the hobbyist as partial or full payment of my rent? GEEZ!!!
But, I will say that when I was brand new at this....I had a client that came to see me ....more and more. first it was weekly, then twice a week, but when he tried to see me a third time in one week....I had to stop him and ask him to really consider what he could be doing to his home finances. (Mainly because in our first visit, he mentioned how long he had saved up to be able to see me).
He got mad and told me I didn't have the right to try and tell him what to do with his money. I just didn't want his home to suffer .......
Everybody just assume the "arrangement" is what it is....an arrangement. Unless the provider POINT BLANK tells you she feels differently.
I have actually enjoyed the company and financial support so much from a client, that I have told them "the next one is on me" or something to that effect......and that one visit was on me....and we picked up where we left off after that. No problem.
I am rambling....let me get back in bed!~!!!! lol

I have nothing against Chinese people or any other ethnic group, missy.
I sometimes like to kid.
Maybe you could lighten up a little and not take everything so seriously.
Life is short, you know!

Fast Gunn...please address me by my handle...my name isn't missy...it's Likinikki. And, yes, life is short...and I have a complete appreciation for a good sense of humor.
However, what you posted was not humorous...in fact, it was so offensive and counterproductive that the thread was closed. And, if you gave a rat's ass about anyone besides yourself...you would man up, and just apologize for being offensive; but, I guess you're too busy being a comedian to be considerate of that.
