just watch out you sooners and don't pull a Children of the Corn and get beat by a bunch of flea ridden huskies! but you've got Big Game Bozo on your sideline so you should be ok .. right?

those ponies remind me of Gladiator when Proximo grabs that slave trader's balls and tells him "you sold me .. queer giraffes"

Indeed! u go Froggies! i smell an AP championship coming!! if you think about it .. and i have while sipping a victory Gin & Tonic that the AP, no longer bound by the BCS, may well decide to vote TCU as their champion. you only have to go back to 2003 during the BCS era when USC was voted the AP title. TCU beat an 11-1 Wisconsin team that was Big Ten champs. this is really no slight to either Oregon or Auburn when you think about it, it accounts for the fact that there will be two unbeaten teams when all the dust settles just like 2003. Clearly the AP can't vote the loser of the BCS title game champion, so they have two choices - go with the BCS champion or recognize TCU as their champion as the only other unbeaten team!!!

so far TWK has taken a bit of beating on my predictions, however if there was one New Year's game i got right it was TCU baby!! TWK has never been wrong picking TCU in big games! ok, we'll forget the Boise State game last year but that still makes me by my count 7-1 over the last few years going with da Froggies!!!! not too shabby!

Aw, cptJ, there's nothing gayer than all you agro-americans doing your little "Hi, neighbor" wave. The least you could do is wave in the same direction at the same time.

So, you've been a UNIVERSITY since 1957? How nice...

Date: Dec. 27, 5 p.m., ESPN
Matchup: Georgia Tech vs. Air Force

Winner - Air Force
Air Force is a solid team and they run well, Ga Tech has been a disappointment.

Air Force 14
Georgia Tech 7

Box score

a rather low scoring affair but the Falcons fly by Ga Tech and get the win.

CHAMPS SPORTS
Site: Orlando
Date: Dec. 28, 6:30 p.m.
Matchup: N.C. State vs. West Virginia

winner - West Virginia
going all in with Stewy to start his victory lap next year on a high note. WVa should have the better offense and Devine is due for a big game.

N.C. State 23
West Virginia 7

Recap
Box score

Not exactly how Stewy wanted to start his farewell tour, maybe Holgorsen should have helped out on offense a bit early.

INSIGHT
Site: Tempe, Ariz.
Date: Dec. 28, 10 p.m., ESPN
Matchup: Iowa vs. Missouri

winner - Missouri
Iowa stumbled late as usual, Frentz has trouble closing out. Mizzu has the edge on offense, Iowa's only chance is keep this from becoming a shootout.

Iowa 27
Missouri 24

Recap
Box score

Well so much for late fades and blowing late leads for Iowa, they manage to pull one out and keep Mizzu from lighting them up on offense.

MILITARY
Site: Washington, D.C.
Date: Dec. 29, 2:30 p.m., ESPN
Matchup: Maryland vs. East Carolina

winner - Maryland
Ralphie is out at Maryland (how interesting they play the Pirates and The Pirate is the likely new coach) still i'd like to see Maryland win one for Ralphie.

Maryland 51
East Carolina 20

Recap
Box score

Well at least Raphie goes out on a high note with a solid showing and makes them Pirates walk the plank.

TEXAS
Site: Houston
Date: Dec. 29, 6 p.m., ESPN

Baylor didn't quite have the breakout year they wanted but Briles is a good offensive coach and Griffin can dominate a game.

ALAMO
Site: San Antonio
Date: Dec. 29, 9:15 p.m., ESPN

Stoops 2 will need a lights out defensive game to stop all those cowpoke play makers, not going to happen, cowpokes roll.

Oklahoma State 36
Arizona 10

ARMED FORCES
Site: Dallas, Texas
Date: Dec. 30, noon, ESPN

why not pony up with JuneBug? unless Army brings real tanks SMU should win with JuneBug's run-n-shoot offense.

Army 16
SMU 14

Recap
Box score

JuneBug lays an egg on offense here, really expected more than 14 points from the ponies. maybe Army did bring the tanks!

PINSTRIPE
Site: New York
Date: Dec. 30, 3:15 p.m., ESPN
Matchup: Kansas State vs. Syracuse

winner - Syracuse
The 'Cuse looks like they have a coach and a team again, it's been a while, and despite Snyder's track record i'll take the 'Cuse.

Syracuse 36
Kansas State 34

Recap
Box score

a close and competitive game that Syracuse closed out with some help from the weakest "excessive celebration" flag i ever saw, taking away any legit chance K St. had to tie it with a two point try.

MUSIC CITY
Site: Nashville
Date: Dec. 30, 6:45 p.m., ESPN
Matchup: North Carolina vs. Tennessee

winner - Tennessee
a toss-up here, Butch Davis is mired in scandal and Dooley would love some momentum. Son of Vince gets the win.

North Carolina 30
Tennessee 27, 2 OT

Recap
Box score

Butch takes out son of Vince. so much for a little recruiting scandal in your program stopping you from winning, eh?

HOLIDAY
Site: San Diego
Date: Dec. 30, 10 p.m., ESPN
Matchup: Nebraska vs. Washington

winner - Nebraska
the children of the corn whipped the Huskies early this year, i see nothing from UWa late in the year to change that, no letdown no excuses Bo!

Washington 19
Nebraska 7

Recap
Box score

What the fuck happened here Children of the Corn? i guess the Zebras shutdown your offense again? Not.

MEINEKE
Site: Charlotte
Date: Dec. 31, noon, ESPN
Matchup: Clemson vs. USF

winner - Clemson
Why? Why Not? besides i can't stand the bastard son of Lou who's now coaching USF and i'd love to see a coach named Dabo kick his butt.

USF 31
Clemson 26

This is what i get for trying to jinx the bastard son of Lou and picking a coach nicknamed Dabo. how 'bout a new nickname? Loser.

Recap
Box score

LIBERTY
Site: Memphis
Date: Dec. 31, 3:30 p.m., ESPN
Matchup: UCF vs. Georgia

winner - Georgia
UGA was a different team with Green back in the lineup and you figure UGA has better talent, after all they are in the big bad SEC aren't they?

UCF 10
Georgia 6

Recap
Box score

So much for the big bad SEC eh UGA? you let little 'ol UCF beat you with 10 lousy points. pathetic.

CHICK-FIL-A
Site: Atlanta

Matchup: Florida State vs. South Carolina

winner - South Carolina
going all in with the 'ol Ball Coach.

Florida State 26

so much for going all in with the 'ol Ball Coach. Jimbo steals Spurrier's visor and slaps him with it.

TICKETCITY
Site: Dallas
Date: Jan. 1, noon, ESPNU

winner - Texas Tech
it's been a rough first year for Tubby at Tech, while it could have been better it certainly could have been worse.

RichRod needs this one bad but UM hasn't played good defense all year so Mullen wins this game and RichRod likely loses his job. you interested J Harbaugh?

Mississippi State 52
Michigan 14

Recap
Box score

two words - Lloyd Carr defense. OK that's three but who's counting? only RichRod who'll soon be counting his buyout. worse bowl loss in UM history means RichRod is .. history.
