no rates in ads now, rates in reviews temporary 2?
I was wondering about the advent of the new rule. I know that it has been mandated as a security issue for the board.....but will reviews follow the same template for not showing services and rates for the hobbyist in those fields as well?
Usually when I can't find rate info in current reviews ill go to p411 to cross reference.....but some ladies don't have their whole profile filled out. Especially the preferred or offered services section. I think it might behove some of those ladies to do that at least their to save us a few steps.
Also the popular escort website template escort.site.com usually blocks people so they have to join for basic info like pics and rates....its a distinct pain....and I can only hope ladies have alternatives for u to find that info.

Thanks for posting this! We were wondering if we should start a thread to alert you guys of this new rule. I have never posted rates or services other than GFE or PSE, but many do go down the play by play. All I can suggest is that ladies link to another site where this info can be found, and guys actually click that link now.
If a lady is running a special she could say something like, "Click here for specials" instead of writing it out in detail.

No kidding London! This whole thing really isn't as troublesome or difficult as its being made out to be. Ladies just make sure your links in your signature lines are up to date and correct/current info can be found there. (Those can go to your personal site, your P411 page, wherever the pertinent info can be found) Its just different procedures from what we have done before and should be a simple change.
PLUS you all have your showcases, if you want one, where the restricted public info IS allowed. The rates and services fields in your showcases are restricted to Premium access members only, always been that way. Just keep them up-to-date. Showcases are something you don't have with other advertising venues and makes ECCIE unique; if you don't have one, we highly suggest you create one.

If eccie.net wants to change something, why don't they change the commenting on reviews? Why comment on the review if you've never seen the lady? What's the point? Ugh.

I would love to see both rates and "services" restricted to ROS. Not only would that provide better protection for provider, reviewer, and ECCIE as a site, it would encourage more paid memberships/active reviewer participation.
I'd also like to see review commenting done away with, but I understand how that would be a far greater benefit to providers than clients.

Amen! If they restrict rates and services to only the ROS, there won't be much to comment about lol. Brilliant!

I think rates and services should not be part of ROS. It should be part of basic information. ROS is specifically for the tone/style points of a session. I'd be less likely to use ECCIE if there are changes to the review process, so girls if you are willing to lose clients who think like me (i.e. the majority of us), you are going to see your client base dry up.

I don't get many clients from here, and even if we do they are all on other boards lol. You don't need to see a play by play in PUBLIC when that's what puts us all at risk. If a guy can't afford the 10 or 20 bucks a month to read the ROS, he can just ask a buddy what it said I suppose. He can also write reviews...what's the big deal? It is the same way on TER and TBD, and that's my main client base. If a guy wants to see someone, I doubt something that is not her fault will be a deal breaker. It's called research and if a girl has like 50 reviews somewhere else, he is just going to read them or ask her to send him a copy lmao.

The only issue is advertising that includes rates and services....it doesn't pertain to reviews. Reviews are simply one persons account of an event (a story) and not subject to these restrictions. There is a big difference.
The commenting on reviews is totally different subject that has nothing to do with the new advertising rules. Naomi...start a new thread about that if you want. Lets keep this on subject, its an important subject to everyone here so lets deal with it here.

Back on ASPD they never allowed the rates or services to be listed on the ads, but yet the reviews were very much like they are on here as it is now. I think Eccie did well setting up the new rules on the ads, but really, no reason to change the layout of the review.
I think the point is, on the ad you are admitting that if they pay you this much, this is the sexual act they can expect from it. So it is point blank soliciting...but yet a review is just telling what happend.

Could there be an area set up within ECCIE State by State where providers have their "sensative info" listed. If this were the first time for a guy to want to see the provider, the provider would do her background check and if all works out she gives the guy a password to enter into the area. The password should be something the provider makes up and be changable at the providers discression. Just an idea.
