Chiefs Rebound and beat St Louis
After a dismal outing in the Bay, KC went to St Louis with Cassel leading his team to a victory over St. Louis.
We are now 9-5 and on the season. Two tough home games ahead we could easily end the season 11-5 and the division championship.
Go Chiefs.
Titans/Raiders remain and I predict wins against both teams.

Hard to get really excited about beating St Louis, even if it was a road game. Two tough home games left. It will be a pleasant surprise if they can win them both. However, I wouldn't be too sad if they lose one and San Diego makes the playoffs. I am pretty sure that other teams that make the playoffs would prefer to face KC than San Diego.

Road games are tough in the NFL. For a team that has fight and scratch to win like the Chiefs have all year, that is an accomplishment. If not this year, for next season. They are playing disciplined, almost mistake free football. Wishful thinking, but any team can get hot this time of year and some teams hit a wall.
Don't forget, most folks were predicting 6-8 wins, .500 would have been overachieving.

If they make the playoffs, I don't expect the Chiefs to make it to the big show (although I'll be pleasantly surprised to say the least). But even if they don't make it all the way, it will be invaluable experience for the younger players to play in the post season. They'll be that much better prepared for the next time.
Plus, it's great to brag about being Super Bowl Champs, but in about 6 mos it's back to, "What have you done for me lately." I'll just enjoy the fun either way because, after all, it's just a game, and it's just entertainment.
Go Chiefs. You've made us proud this year.

The St. Louis game was the least winnable on their remaining schedule. Losing it would have made winning the division a long shot, to say the least, so I'm really glad they won it. With the Jets and Ravens as the most likely wild card teams, the Chiefs would have a legitimate shot at winning at Arrowhead in the first round; the Jets are not as good as they thought in August and Baltimore's defense is coasting more on reputation than anything else right now. Winning their first playoff game since the 1993 season would be a HUGE step forward. I'm not counting on it, but it's been years since I could even dream about it.

It wasn't just that they kicked it to Jackson, it was a line drive. Thats what gave him time to bobble it and still score. That was poor coverage, the middle was open enough for him to bolt through with his great speed. He likes to rub it in his opponents faces and taunt them when he scores. He needs a few good shots over the middle to break him of that.
