Corporate Appreciation Letters
Pet Peeve:
Companies I've done business with for years sending me holiday thanks that start with:
"Dear Valued Customer"
or
"Dear Sir/Madame"
Really... you can't take the time to insert a name? Yeah, I feel really appreciated.
I wonder if any ladies send out mass holiday thank you e-cards to their gentlemen with "Dear Valued Patron" as the intro.

I just recieved a mass holiday E card from the lady who outed me at my local dog park . She starts off the email by telling me that I am recieving this email because I am among one of her favorite people she has worked with in the past, or currently work with over the course of the year
I guess she got her lists confused. I have to be the only woman around who manages to get outed at a dog park.

Hmm I know when I give to charity they DO insert my name lol. I get more emails from St. Jude than I do from potential patrons lol.

The mother of the petulant lad who took it upon himself to "improve" your website, perhaps??? Just saying...
As long as Ed's identity is safe...that's the important thing!

At least in the good ole days it cost something to send a card, even if it wasn't personalized.
Now that ecards are (essentially) free, everyone on the contact list gets one.
I don't even open them, for the most part, but I'd say 2/3rds of the time I don't even recognize the sender (who of course so values our business/friendship/etc.)

I had to crop all his online images , so the moms at the dog park could not recognize him.

That isn't true. The flying squirrel attacked his ears.

The most annoying part about that: There are mass email programs that will insert the name of the person for every email it sends out - all automated.

The only appreciation letter that I want to see is
"Thanks hun for the awesome sex; next time I'll pay you."

This is just too easy. I'll be nice and keep my mouth shut though.
