How many any of you olde farts can remember where you were when you heard the news..... John Lennon had been shot and killed within sight of Strawberry Fields?
Eerily I can.... a young long haired wireman @ work.... hangin' out back by the switchgear shop radio all day.... taking many breaks out to the parking lot to mourn....

I was 11 and I was watching Monday Night Football with my brother and father. I can still remember Howard Cossell announcing it during the game.
