I have no clue who "we" is Tanto, but ...
... for some reason, Lake Austin water perhaps, "we" forgot the incompetence of the prior administrations .. which included .... err....
.... Bill Clinton and his giddy "All-Wrong"!

Pssssst ... FYI ... the "final decision" has been made.
If not, they all need firing ..

Now, just what is that decision ... more of this %#$@ ...

Please pay particular attention to Page 2, Parag. II.
"the "Framework" ... "complete dismantlement" ...
... and .. and ... "more normal .. relations"!
Let's see: 1996.
That was a good year .. that is the year Gore issued his "airline safety" commission report that would make the U.S. airline industry "safe" from terrorists!

Is that what you call McCain these days? Dubya? For 2000 you liked him!
If I recall in 2008 it was McCain vs. Obama ... or do you recall?

They should not need them, unless Obama is going to have a garage sale.
As for bringing ....
.... "duhyah back or better yet duhyah in heels. Palin" ....
Right now, Obaminable is at bat, ...
... and he needs to drive in some runs.

I could not agree with you more. During the past decade we have had very few (foreign policy) runs cross home plate. Indeed, we have some serious catching up to do!
Let's wish the current Administration the best as they deal with the difficult issues that have created concern for each and every American President since Truman occupied the White House.
Where is Ike when we need him?

Sure they need them.I don't know how long South Korea will take being bitch slapped , apparently they don't mind it. After the ship carrying 30+ South Korean sailors was torpedoed,They should have immediatly went to war.The south is showing right now that they are basically Eunuchs.South korea would win a war between the two.Sure seoul would be devasted and the loss of life would be relativly high (historicly it would be low.after all in just the battle of stalingrad over 1.5 millions died) say less than 250k.North Korea is Dangerous and would sell a nuclear weapon to any organization with the money. They must be dealt with.Appeasement won't work with mad men. Ask the ghost of this chap.

You are least consistent, if nothing else ... how about the last 3 decades?
You obviously chose not to read Ms. All-Wrongs "reports" that were ...
... "secret"!
I am still looking for the "break throughs" of the Clinton administration that "stuck" ... right now the only thing I can recall that "stuck" during Bill and Hillary's watch was Bill's DNA on Monica's blue dress!
As for "Ike" ... he was having an affair when we needed him! Hmmm.
But before you place him on that pedistal, please remember that Ike got us into S.E. Asia and neglected to tell Kennedy in the post-election/pre-swearing "briefings"!

Your request is much too little, and way too late. I placed Ike very high on a pedestal many, many years ago. From my own personal perspective, I consider Ike to be one of the greatest Generals in American history. By the same token, I believe Ike to be an average American President. However his significant contributions to the Allied victory in Europe during WW II, cannot be minimized! In simpler terms, I consider Ike to be a great American hero!
As it pertains to Ike's personal life, or anyone else for that matter, I do not spend my time thinking about it. Truthfully, I could care less whether Ike had an affair. I never considered it to be my place to pass judgement upon how an individual spends his/her free time! Especially on these pages!

For a reality check on how the N Koreans think, Google N Korean newspapers, and click on Korea Times (it's in English).......The editorials are like nothing you've ever read in a newspaper.........

Ike was a politician and an administrator in a uniform...
....irrespective of your "personal perspective."
And "we" all know he "ended" the Korean War!
[See quote below.]
And "we" know the "rest of the story" .... except for the "ending."

Some news organizations are reporting that South Korea is apologizing for "accidentally" firing a round into North Korea, which was the basis for the North Korean barrage. NK also apologized.
Are "we" about to have another "beer summit" in the backyard at the WH?
