I feel that NormalBob hit the nail right on the head so to speak with his 4 points. I live in the "Boondocks" so I travel at least an hour each way to an appointment and 30 minutes is just not enough time. But then on the other hand, I do travel thru Utica and Syracuse often on my way to Canada so to brief stop to stretch my "three" legs would sure make the drive less stressful and enjoyable.Just my thoughts and I can see and understand a providers point but if it can work out mutually then its all for the better for both parties.

For me, 30 is like the bums rush. Heck, 60 is barely time to relax. 90 makes a good intoduction, but with 120 -now there- one can relax and enjoy the company. The longer the better!

Interesting views. I had never considered the hotel angle before. For those do their incall away from home, I can see how 30 mins would barely cover costs.
Perhaps an overlooked advantage of the half-hour... they're good when exploring BP / e.com. Wouldn't apply for the quality reviewed providers here, when you know, or at least have a rough idea, what you're getting... I've learned the hard way though that when seeing an unknown girl it's better to risk a hh fee on a potential wet firecracker than to gamble the hour. If she's not your cup of tea, at least you got our rocks off. If you click, probably she will extend, and if not there's always the next time.

I agree that 30 mins is not enough time to meet a client that you haven't seen before. I too like to feel comfortable with the gent. Now if say, NB, texted/called/emailed me tomorrow and say "hey let me take you up on that special your running".... I would surely be totally fine with it. But I also have seen him before.
30 mins appointments are a gray area. And for the record.... just because I am offering them this week. Doesn't mean I am going to schedule multiple 30 mins appointments in one day, let alone right after one another. Everyone runs their business differently. I, however, don't even schedule back to back appointments. I like to shower after an appointment. I wouldn't want a gent to come in smelling like someone else, nor would they want to swap spit with the gent I saw previously.

30 mins is perfect... especially during lunch time, where it usually takes 10-15 mins drive each way. All in all, a perfect lunch break! I also agree the charges fall somewhere around the 2/3 mark of the 1 hour appt.

I totally agree with all who have said 30 minutes is not enough time. I wish they all could be 90 minutes or 2 hours. But having busy lives and being a lunch time guy it is tough to go too far and have the luxury of no time restraints. After work is usually worse than lunch for me as far as having enough time. Having gotten to know lots of the ladies here and them getting to know me I believe connections have been made to where we both are comfortable to a shorter visit if otherwise it means we couldn't meet at all. And yes Courtney we have had many hour appts to get to know each other and still will but I mentioned you because last time we met I was at a store already out for lunch, got your text right when you were checking in and had an amazing time. A hot and amazing time. For me anyway. The unexpected meeting and your willingness to meet I feel adds to our connection and really made my day. I also look forward to meeting Brooke in a few weeks (for an hour) just as I mentioned before meeting Mary for the first time for 90 minutes. As a few have said if they had to drive an hour you want to relax and enjoy a 90 minute or 2 hour appt. I get that and totally agree. But for me a 5-10 minute drive is max for an hour appt. And then add in if I have something to do at lunch a 30 minute appt still leaves me 20/25 minutes to do what I need to do. I just need more time in a day sometimes. Tooooooo busy.

30 minutes? What about the 15 minute appointment? During one of my appointments with China, I'd booked in advance and China graciously (how else?) explained that she would have to be strict on sticking with the scheduled hour because of other obligations. Not a problem. As it turned out, through a series of complicated and boring to tell circumstances, I was running way behind and traffic on the way out to her former in call was crawling. At best I was going to be half hour or more late, so I called China to let her know. Since we were technically "on the clock" by this time, we talked on the phone as I traveled her way and had a lovely conversation (naturally) where I arrived with 15 minutes left in our scheduled time and with the usual donation in hand. While I feel bad that China missed out on her usual massage from me, I have to say that a nice intense quickie has its charms.
Obviously, this wasn't a true 15 or even 30 min appointment because of our chance to visit on the phone, while at the same time reinforces that folks who know each other reasonably well can enjoy themselves and each other in a brief period.

I can only count to 3 the number of times I had a half-hour session. They happened in my earlier days of hobbying when I was pressed for time and I was contented with a quick physical encounter.
Ideally, I prefer a leisurely, longer appointment. In practice, one hour during working hours is my norm, since even that requires disappearing from the office for 2 hours for a Buffalo session and 4 hours for a Rochester session.

i prefer longer
Half hour appointments are to short in my opion..Id rather see discounts for longer meetings..3 or 4 hr dates give you plenty of playtime and alot of down time for chat and getting to know someone a little..
