first of all, i think i get why you titled it the way you did and am ok with it. however, to get people to side with you instead of questioning or debating your question, you might have titled it "who's going to join me in having a sense of humor?"
[kind of like using "if you cant reach an operator, call us back so we can take your order" instead of "operators are standing by to take your call." think of the image each suggests]
now, to your post.....
i'm so glad you made that post. it's not something i had thought about. you put forth an excellent argument and made very good points [the parts i bolded]. i agree wholeheartedly with you on this topic!!!
even tho' various psychological, interpersonal, and personality tests tag me as
normal or
amiable or
organized,
i view myself as very different from most of the people i know in my life, family, job, clubs, etc. and not just different in ethnic heritage, profession, political viewpoints, etc.
but also
different in the things i do, places i go, movies i see, ideas i have about the world, types of foods i like,
and the women i like to play and have fun with.
so, maybe like you, lauren, i didnt come to this
very different sub-culture to get bashed or judged or dumped on cos i do things differently from them - women i visit, opinions i have about some women or men or viewpoints put forth. [ok, maybe you all will judge and like that i will soon reduce the frequency of my posting. see? something different :^].
even tho' i'm pretty self-reliant, of strong personality and mind, and let a lot of shit just fly past me, it still stings when i read less than deliteful things about me [like in signature lines]. i may think about what they said and may say "self, you might consider a change." but it's no big deal, since all this sub-culture and the interactions that go on here dont amount to a hill of beans in the bigger picture of our city, state, nation, and planet. unless someone's health, safety and/or security are at stake.
