Very well put, Nikki.
I don't know if it was also mentioned, but sometimes when you open the texting channel, you may get unsolicited texts from a provider at an inopportune time. It's happened to me, but luckily, I keep my phone on lockdown and don't read texts in plain sight of others.

Well, phone records can also be accessed by attorneys as well. Hobby phones are the best option...

I will text if we have already met. I hate giving info through text, you just never know who is on the other line, I just would rather hear someone's voice.

So why not email then. That way the provider can read it discretely at her convenience. As for me I tend to plan ahead so there's no need for any instant feedback so email works quite well.

But a phone record has no discussions of anything on it. No proof of anything except a phone call.
And Nikki, looking at the time of your post, I would have to say you just finished talking to your boyfriend !!!!! lol oops, never mind, wrong day. lol

My phone has a fake name and addy so whatever I get text or phone is fine with me! Anyway who would say in detail what they are going to do in a session? That would be a red flag in it self. Just read our reviews there any answer you would need.....Attorneys mmmm there my favorite clients>>>Text me babe I am waiting>>>LOL

I prefer NO Texting, although if a provider wants it and I want the provider then I'll do it. In my normal life I text A LOT (way more than I call) but as Mokoa suggested, those pesky texts are a lot harder to hide than a phone call that lasts 25s.
I don't begrudge a provider that wants texts or doesn't but me honestly I'd prefer the 25s phone calls that I get from the ones I do see (who are great).

Texting does have it's place, but conversation is so much more personal. I do some texting, but a few weeks ago, had an issue arise when trying to set an appt., that caused me to see another provider. Sometimes texting just doesn't convey a message, that voice will. When I could only get texts returned, and I had a question regarding general location and time, I figured it was time to find somebody else. A short conversation would have resolved the issue if she would have bothered to pick up the phone, and I could have made arrangements to see her. Instead, because of the distance involved and the late timing, I had to make other arrangements. Frankly, the over-use of the texts was a little offensive.

You put such interesting "spins" on things SofaKingFun!!
This will become a piece of the arranging process I'm sure sooner or later and it won't matter what anyone prefers. Can we ask the first person (guy or gal) who gets busted for texting and driving while setting-up a session to self-identify themselves please?
Universal City will fine you $200 for texting while driving. 09/22/10
The texting violation in San Antonio carries with it a $200 fine. Expect 90 days of warnings to be issued . City officials say that will give them time to put up signs and educate the public before the citations are issued next year. 10/06/10
Austin, Galveston and El Paso have similar local laws...

This is NOT about texting and driving. I dont fuk and drive either!...except that one time in Fargo........
It's about the acceptability of texting the ladies. If they expressly request that no texts be sent, then respect them and text ur boyfriend. But the ones who allow it, we should be brief, vague, and discreet....
Why do I get the last word--- cuz I started the thread. HEHE
Thanx ladies
