I am too lazy to spell out all your handle, sorry, but I had some similar feelings, that and other things had me retiring from here in June or so, came back cause I missed the friends I had made on here, and the interaction with some ladies also.
I came back with the old thought from long time board buddy and mod LAP, where he said (to paraphrase) "this hobby is supposed to be fun" and that is how i am approaching it. Not going to get into political discussions or whatever. Is more than fine for those who like them, but for myself I am here to have fun.
I do wish you the best whether you do decide to retire, or you reconsider and stay on!
