President Obama said himself that he is inspired by his father. He wrote a book about it. "Dreams of my Father", or something like that. Even an absent father can have a profound effect on a son. Not saying whether it is right or wrong, but President Obama is definitely affected by his father. And I'm not saying this is what President Obama is doing, but often sons of absent fathers will try for years to please that absent father.

Okay, now we get down to it. Was D'souza wrong? Monger says yes and I say no. Monger says that Sr. didn't have much to do with Jr. so D'souza has to be wrong. I say that even with an absent father children tend to create a stand in for their father. No, I'm not talking about a real person but an "ideal" that represents everything they imagine dear old absent dad is. So I say that D'souza has some good points even if you disagree with the verbage.

So Newt DID say what I quoted him as saying, didn't he?
(Readers, what you've seen here is known as backpedalling. Utterly defeated, their talking points are walked back to the very edge. The very abstract edge, with blame placed upon verbage. No. This one is clear cut. Newt said what he said. The man that wants to be your President in two years believes the world is run by the ghost of a drunk driving African tribesman.)

Okay monger here is the quote of what Newt said “What if [Obama] is so outside our comprehension, that only if you understand Kenyan, anti-colonial behavior, can you begin to piece together [his actions]?” Gingrich asks. “That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior.”
Those are his words but it is painfully obvious that he was commenting on the words of someone else. Is that too hard to understand? Next thing you know will be saying that Joseph Kennedy was a Nazi sympathizer because he "Hitler was on the right track".
So if I must be obvious; Newt did not say the comments, he was commenting on the words.

"That is the most accurate, predictive model for his behavior", huh? LOL, Newt shouldn't have much trouble with his Obama fortune telling then. (Doesn't this sound like Karl Rove's claim to have "the math"?)
John Galt, re-read your last sentence. Total nonsense. How on Earth was Newt communicating? Sign language? No. He was saying words with his big fat mouth. The words Newt was spewing are the ones that both you and I quoted. Those are the ones he's responsible for. The author of the Forbes article is responsible for his own words. Quit trying to confuse the readers by breathlessly claiming Newt is not responsible for the Forbes article.
Your last sentence put another way reads; "Newt did not say the words (he said); he was commenting on the comments.

Sometimes your hyperpartisanship is cute but this is not one of those times. I understand that if someone were to comment (by reading aloud) about something that Hitler (the left's favorite whipping boy) had said in 1932 you would make the claim that the person in the here and now had said it. You have no sense of time or continuity when it comes to your political stands. Take a breath and a lithium because I'm through trying to explain the English language to you because you are incorrigible. Now go one and try to find a typo to justify your existenxe (there, I just gave a you a gift).

for the clip on Breitbart's web site, I wouldn't trust anything that he puts out as anything but a fabrication.
