I passed a muslim mosque this afternoon. Gives me an opportunity to comment on two threads at the same time. It had a sign outside:

Love everybody
Hate nobody

SH, I suggest you convert to Islam before your bitterness destroys you.

Well said! I'm glad it wasn't my family that he murdered...otherwise, I would be in a position to where I would have to make the choice of forgiving him.

I can only pray for the poor victim's family and his. He was only 24years old and a med student...how did he get to that point...so tragic. He must have been a very sick person to have committed the crime...and who really knows what his demons were. At the end of the day, it was his choice to commit the murders...his choice to die in prison...not going to lose sleep over that much stupidity.

I guess the sign should have said "Love everybody except those who don't want to live like you-those you bomb and maim"

I have to admit a "bitterness" toward those that kill 3,000 of my fellow citizens. Next time I pass a Mosque, I'll give a

I am only saying these things to balance out views a bit.

Of course I am completely out of order saying anything, seeing as I am from that den of liberal evil, Europe.
LOL can someone PLEASE interpret this!

Who was it who had a signature:

'Don't argue with an idiot, they will only bring you down to their level'.

My dear...person...you are posting on the wrong board. You should be posting on a site titled: Political Agendas Fueled by Religion.
Good luck bending minds to your will....NOT

Well said! I just wish he would had his day in court and have to face the loved ones of the girl he murdered.

I fear we are not going to see eye to eye, but I dislike this kind of nonsense perverting a board which is meant to be about fun. I repeat, revenge and vengeance and retribution are some of the lowest forms of human behaviour.

Although I agree with your statement...please remember this board is also a place for us to "express" our opinions...right or wrong.

Tolerance is a virtue...but that doesn't mean people who may normally be tolerant would tolerate cold-blooded murder...just as you have no tolerance for people who would express such disdain.

Let me be clear, in case there has been some twisting of my words

I am not tolerant of cold-blooded murder, nor would I like anybody to be tolerant of such.

Tolerance is not always a virtue. Examples are too obvious to be worth stating.

I perfectly understand the sentiments expressed here, I am simply adding my two cents because a thread which only has an expression of one point of view is biased, and I am certainly very intolerant of bias.

I got robbed two days ago by a couple of youths, a bruise to my head and a bigger bruise to my ego, yes I wanted while wrestling with them to give them a good thump and kick in the balls, yes i want to make sure they don't escalate their crimes, but if a court said 'these boys have been found guilty, essence please now kick them in the balls as hard as you can' I would of course refuse, and flee from a country which had such a perverted sense of justice.

The question of marines is interesting. I come from a military family, my father was one of the first in the precursor to the marines. In some situations in war conflicts they are necessary, but I always remember my father saying what a disaster it was sending them as a peace keeping force to Northern Ireland. Their aggressive culture is bred for a specific purpose, and cannot be generalised to 'normal' life.

Whoops - another can of worms opened.

ps I am neither muslim nor christian, although I have a deep immersion into christian culture and teachings.
