I actually had this happen to me once, but it was an old buddy. I was pulling into Casey Carlin's incall when I got the call that he and his family were sitting in a rental car in front of my house. Daymn she is pretty, but I gave her a President Grant and left. That was relatively early in my during my previous hobby life. Today, I would tell him I have a prior commitment and I'll get there when I get there, LOL!

Casey and I never could meet up after that, and now as a HDH, way out of my league.

I got an unexpected visit the night before a scheduled appointment, and she wore me out. There was no way I had anything left for my session, so I used the "Im not physically 100%" excuse, which was true. Felt bad when I got a caring response tho of "sorry you are under the weather".....

woman 1 - "i had to report to my probation officer."

i got that once via a text message. didnt even re-contact her. she fell off my gvha list.


woman 2 - "my daughter is still recovering from tonsilectomy." me - "oh, what's her age?" her - "15". me [thinking to self] - "she sure does look like she's in her mid 30s." [turns out she's 33]

she didnt cancel but just had to reschedule. it was a delitful encounter and she is still on my gvha list.

This is the oddest thing I have ever said to a client but it did happen:

"I can't make it because my bathroom ceiling just fell in."
It seems the air conditioner wasn't draining properly and 3/4 of my bathroom ceiling did actually fall in. Part of the bedroom ceiling had to be replaced as well. It was the hottest part of the summer and the air had to be turned off, of course. 106f. yikes.
