Been a long time, but Im a drummer. Did the garage band/college club thing way back in the day... bang the bongoes now and then but the closest Ive gotten to sitting behind a kit and rocking out with my cock out in the last few years is when I play Wii Rock Band.

Used to play piano and trumpet. My parents made stopped playing the trumpet because they claimed that I was practicing enough, though the teacher tried to talk my parents out of that because he said I was the best trumpet player in the band. As a retaliation I told my mother that I'm no longer going to play the piano (I didn't like playing the piano, but was very good at it). Mom wasn't happy and she tried to force me to keep playing, even as far as punishing me by making me sit at the piano for a couple of hours when I would refuse to practice playing. I eventually won and have not played any instruments since I was about 16.

Classic rock covers means different things to people of different ages. Elaborate, please? Name the top five songs you play. (In other words, just date your self for us.)

Used to play drums pretty well. Have played lead & rhythm guitar for a while now...mainly rock and some metal...Satriani, Beck, Malmsteen, Eddie VH, etc.
Not looking to be in a band, just do it to relieve stress and entertain the wife=drive her nuts

Guitar (acoustic, electric, slide), Bass, Harmonica, vocals......used to be in a few progessive country bands, couple of blues bands, and numerous solo gigs. Think Jerry Jeff (and all his disciples), Dylan, Willie, Tom Waits, The Band, acoustic Stones, Buffet, Taj Majal, Ry Cooder, Keb Mo, and the like.
Also dabbled in songwriting...in the vein of John Prine.....actually sold a couple of tunes to Travis Tritt a few years ago.
I've often wondered how many of us are musically inclined. I would love to get together with like minded pickers and see (or hear) what happens.
