5. Put a key logger on your machine.
6. Each time you get on check the key logger to see if anything suspicious has happened since your last use.

I love these, just spy on yourself first!

Another option is to use special software to set a password on your hard drive bios. This does entail some risk and is probably not for everyone but effective in preventing unauthorized access.
