Thanks for the link, Elisabeth. The answers you got in Dallas seem to track opposite to the responses here in Austin.
I don't have kids so I can't say my distaste for the term is parental. More so, it reminds me of my own (deceased) father, and it reminds me of the age difference between me and the provider. I'm fine without either reminder.

I like it when she mumbles in Spanish. Don't know what she's saying, but it sounds sexy. Only thing I could pick up was papacito, which I guess is close enough to daddy. I'm not old enough yet to be any (legal) provider's daddy, and nobody's called me that yet.
