When you step into a thread and state that an opposing point of view is invalid, all bets are off. You need to bring your A game and be able to defend your position. If you have a differing opinion and simply state your view without attacking someone else......it is all good.

You guys have a VERY tame board (in my opinion). I don't get a sense of family in your forums........this is coming from a guy who visited your area and put out a little feeler about the local action and found your feedback disjointed.

Were it not for Docdave and a couple of lurkers, your feedback would have been mostly useless.......the board is about pussy........either you know where it is, or you have one........the drama can be good for board traffic.......just keep the drama in perspective and don't believe your own shit don't stink.......and cpi2.999 is much nicer than I am........just .02 from one of the assholes in Texas.

You should be able to call a spade a spade. Simple thought processes need to be used when posting, coherent writing.

New posters should not ask the obvious questions in the hobby. The asnwers are on the SHMBs. There is a search tab/button on every board. One would not start collecting trains and without doing a little research first. The same is true with the hobby.

CPI and Deerhunter are not just any a-holes, but knowledgeable a-holes. They have been in the hobby for years and know the drill. DH is right about some pot stirring helps board traffic, just look at the number of posts and views.

Thanks guys for your thoughts. As I was thinking of your posts. And how to answer. A provider from another area posted in are welcome area looking to see if it would be worth her time to come to one of the citys in upstate NY. She got slammed. But then many posted to show the error of doing that. So tact may not be are strong point. But the ones that have it are trying to teach the others that look to need it. Some of us in upstate ny need help with tact. Just how to get them to see it is another "?".
