Out with some friends recently; we're all the same age(mid 40s).

Sun is hard on you, folks. Look at pictures from the early 1900s here in Texas - farmer folks were covered up, with hats and gloves on. With good reason.
I love leather, but only on my books, chairs, or motorcycle jackets - not on my women.
