What an entertaining series. I thought that Nemmi (sp?) was the difference maker. I don't remember him giving up any easy goals. The game winner was put where the announcers had been saying all long Leightnon (sp?) was weak on...the 5 hole.

Very happy for the Hawks'...you are right, love the logo!

With the Stars not even making the cut this year my following of the playoffs has been limited to checking scores. With the Cup looking for a home last night I decided to tune in. I thought Chicago was just going to pound the way the zone play was going. Philly decided to make a game of it the last period and make it go for the extra period. Niemi made some good stops, but as one of the announcers pointed out, his rebound control was pretty bad, so his D-corps had to bail him out a number of times. Never underestimate the power of a good D pair (sounds like provider advice, lol). With a Cup drought in Chicago since '61, I'd say they were due.
