Question For The Gents...
Hello gentlemen, I'll be driving to San Antonio in October. What is a good city to stop in, I'd like to break up the 12 hr drive. Is there any interest for a day or two of incall, or are the cities too small? I am not familiar with Texas geography at all. Thanks for your help...
xoxo Sophie

Wow, great pics and profile, SophieSimone. I imagine you will do just fine in West Texas. Lubbock (of course) and Midland-Odessa areas might be a thought. I am sure the Abilene contingent will throw their hats in for consideration as well.
Hope your travels are safe and productive. Take care,

I can tell you that my responses have been overwhelming for Amarillo and Lubbock. I've had a few in Odessa (enough to make the stop). Unfortunately, Abilene has been crickets.

Thank you gents, and especially December, it's nice to have opinions from both points of view!
What is Lubbock like as a town? I will be visiting Amarillo during my Austin and Dallas tour, so it will be fun to try something different when I hit up San Antonio and Houston.

Miss Simone,
What a pleasure it is to see you post here. You know Las Cruces is a suburb of El Paso and you would be able to pick us both off at the same time. I guess the question is .... what would it take to get you to El Paso?

Please excuse my ignorance, but is El Paso a safe place to visit traveling as a single woman? On the map it looks so close to Juarez.
Would the El Paso gentlemen come visit me in Las Cruces?

Sophie;
You may not remember me but my friend Kelli vouched for me! Hey I travel to El Paso every other week on business and yes it is safe. HUGE military presence there. If you IM me I can tell you some nice places to stay....I live in the same town you do by the way!
Oh and if you happen to be there on my every other week schedule you can add me to the list also!

To be honest, probably not, especially as there is no valid reason to avoid El Paso. Juarez is a non-issue on El Paso, Texas.

Also if you need some advice on places to stay in El Paso, you can always IM me and I will let you know where to stay. Also you can ask some of our local girls. I'm sure they will chime in on how safe it is here. There is lots of drama across the border but never spills over here, we have a really safe city.
Cheers.

Sophie, I can't speak for everyone on here. I can tell you that I would go to Las Cruces to see you. But, seeing as how it is an hour drive for me to go to Cruces, or 1.5 hours to go to El Paso, I would visit you in either place. I just wish you didn't have to cancel your Jun trip down this way.

Abilene is a good place to stop and then head south.
