Nope, not defensive. I have already acknowledged that it was wrong in both instances. Which is a whole lot more than you have done.

Since you have pointed out a history lesson with a great big smirk on your face, are you also willing to acknowledge that when the Reps do the same thing it is equally wrong?

A simple yes or no will suffice:

"Yes, this kind of activity is equally wrong when the Reps do it as when the Dems do it"

or

"No, my moral compas only acknowledges that Dems are evil, Reps are saints".

Which is it?

Your question is incomplete and misleading. In 2008 the democratic party was trying disenfranchise two entire states. In this case, the first time resulted in a compromise that you have not acknowleged, the establishment GOP is trying to reduce the influence of conservatives and libertarians in the party. I guess you could say that this is a GOP on GOP hate crime but that would snarky. This second time is going to energize the conservative/Tea Party base and bring about change to the leadership of the GOP. They don't see that coming. They have always ruled and they think the status quo is great. Things have changed in the last four years. After the election they will still need our money and our energy. Do not think that this is just a GOP thing. How do you think all those primaries got front loaded that doomed Hillary? That was the democratic leadership protecting themselves. Look what happened to them. The Chicago cabal took over and if you didn't go along things happened to you. It's the Chicago way.

No, I am not happy with some events but like a career soldier I still have my eye on the ball. You, on the other hand, pay way too much attention to press manipulations. Shouldn't you be watching the "hurricane" on the Weather Channel?

Hmmm #2: if you would READ what I said, I acknowledged (3rd time now) that it happened with the dems, and I said it was wrong. Do you always have such trouble understanding when someone is agreeing with your point?

This, sir, shows how clueless you can be.

Wow, and why should I do that? Even more important, what does that have to do with the discussion at hand. THIS comment is just weird!

Okay, let me explain. In case you haven't noticed the media has been running between New Orleans and Tampa all day. Since you don't care about the convention, the Weather Channel has what you want.

Also, I never contested the claim that this was the establishment trying to chill the conservatives. I was actually the first person to say that. Please read more carefully.
