CBJ7, I think I am starting to really like you. LOL. It seems that we are both big time Dallas Cowboys fans. Thanks again for helping me relive some of their glory days. Now if Jerry Jones would just get out of the way and hire a general manager, maybe they could get back to winning another Super Bowl.

I know a few people who feel the same way as you do. Landry was the greatest coach the Cowboys ever had. But it was time for him to go. Jerry Jones should have handled that coaching change a lot better than he did. Landry certainly deserved better.

And like they say, you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. And the fact that he replaced Landry with an arrogant, egotistical blowhard only made things worse. I was done at that point.

Disappointing all around, because i still love those teams of the 70's and early 80's. My mother would always bring home the TV Guide the first day it was on the shelf (usually a Tuesday) and the first thing i would do every week is check to see if the Cowboys game was going to be on in my area.
