Today's Rasmussen daily tracking poll has Romney in a slight lead over Obama, 44% to 43%. Rasmussen uses the most reliable sample group: likely voters. Most polls, like Fox News for instance, use the less reliable sample group of registered voters. A registered voter sample group is biased towards Obama. Most pollsters use a registered voter sample group instead of a likely voter sample, because it's a less expensive way to poll.
Also, Rasmussen shows that 6% are undecided. Undecided voters usually vote 80% for the challenger. That means, adjusted for undecided voters, Rasmussen has Romney over Obama by 49% to 43%.
Election day is going to be an early Christmas for Republicans.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Mitt Romney attracting support from 44% of voters nationwide, while President Obama earns the vote from 43%. Six percent (6%) prefer some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.
