Looking for opinions.
I'm curious to know whether the clients on this site would consider me a provider. As I've mentioned in previous posts, I do topless massage therapy(without the HE part)...I would not want to misrepresent myself...In claiming I'm a provider, would that necessarily insinuate I do all the 'extras'.
Where should the line be drawn between a 'provider' and a 'member'?

A provider offers services beyond what you offer. I would stay a member in your particular case.

Qualifying the term, as in "topless massage-only provider" would be more accurate. If you did HE, then definition of FBSM provider is right on target.
FBSM (Full Body Sensual Massage) : An encounter that is not usually full service; expect only massage (usually nude or topless) and handjob, but more services might be available.
The mods can answer the question specifically for how ECCIE defines the term Provider. We do have a few ladies who are Members (at least one meets providers with her husband for a 3-way).
It would be good if the system somehow indicated that someone is a lady, because unless a handle is labeled "Provider", I usually assume it's a guy.
You could choose to change your signature line to include "Offering FBSM without HE" and that would make it clearer. No good way to avoid assumptions though.
Hope this helps...

Perhaps, the site...in acknowleding various areas of the adult entertainment industry might consider setting up a discussion area for those of us who don't exactly meet the 'qualifications' of being a 'verified provider'...but are more than a random member?
Any thoughts?
I think I do have as much in common with as I do unrelated to the other women on here...regardless of some small differences...

Topnotch, I say this with the utmost respect, but personally I would not consider you a provider. Without the HE that pretty much rules you out because you see, without that, most guys would not consider that "some small differences". It's the gold at the end of the rainbow, so to speak. I think what BB suggested about the disclaimer on your signature is an excellent idea.
Also, what another member said that you have your own niche'...some guys want what you provide and who can say that's wrong. I see nothing wrong with what you offer as a service, as long as it's up front and the guys know exactly what you offer...

Personally, I think it's awesome what you do! It's different, tempting, with a lot of teasing. I'm willing to bet there have been a few guys who after they left rubbed one off thinking about fucking you. That's Hot! All people are different, and I'm sure there are a ton of guys/girls that would love to get a regular massage with some added eye candy! Are you a provider? In the sense on this board...No. In other ways, Yes. Have a Groovy Day!!

You should be able to change your status line (right now it says "Gaining Momentum") to one that, after being verified as a provider, could say "Massage Provider" or "Massage Therapist" or some other defining phrase rather than just "Provider", then in the "Location" field, further define your service, like "FBSM, no HE" or something similar. You could verify this with Omahan via PM once your verified status has been set up. Hope this helps. Good luck to you.

My personal opinion; if someone is called a provider or lists themselves as a provider then I expect that the full meal deal is on the menu. I agree with the others that you are a "theraputic massage specialist" but the topless part kind of throws a wrench it it. Any nudity almost implies that there will be a happy ending and most guys will be disappointed at the end. This may be unfair to you but that is the way of the world.

Personally, IMO, if you're NOT a provider, you shouldn't have verified provider status. There is no reason for you to have / gain access to / be privy to that information on this board which only verified providers may access.

I have discussed this with the owners and Christine is not illegible to be an ECCIE Verified Provider. She was advised of this before she started this thread.
This discussion has probably been good as it should show Christine she has some fans, the community is accepting of her but she is not an exact fit. Christine is welcome to stay on as a regular member and join in discussions. However, she cannot advertise here. Nor can she have access to the Provider and Mens forums.

This prompts a question then. And sorry if this has been discussed before but I'm fairly new to eccie and don't know all the rules compared to aspd. Does this rule her out as far as someone giving her a review?
Only guidelines I see in the Spa/Studio/MP Reviews section is this, and it only pertains to premium access:
"The staff at ECCIE has decided to allow Premium Access credit for reviews of Strip Clubs and AMP's. In both cases actual "extras" have to have taken place during the event. Meaning a simply rub and feel and a lap dance wouldn't qualify."
One would think you could even if she doesn't qualify as a provider, but a member here. Unique situation. Just curious..

Apparently, you won't get BCD credit unless there are extras. But any massage can be reviewed. A topless massage fits very well here.
