Paul Ryan - The Warmonger's Choice
I am so disappointed with Romney on this. I so wanted just a little reason to vote for him. Just a little one. And he picks Paul Ryan to run with him.
Well, at least the defense and oil industries should be happy. And Sean, Rush, Mark and Neal will be having orgasms all weekend over this.
Meanwhile, those of us who want to live in peace and freedom just got sent down the river.
To quote my friend Iffy . . . fuckem'.

the GOP nominated a loser
the GOP (IMO) insisted another loser to run with the first loser

They should have selected the "unelectable" candidate.

Having it reinforced by the Establishment and state-controlled media doesn't help either. Let's face it, the Establishment had reason to be afraid of Ron Paul. They aren't afraid of Obama or Romney.
In a fair fight, Ron Paul would run away with this election.

My understanding is that Ron Paul advocates ending all social welfare programs, along with every unconstitutional agency. I don't think he could win in a fair fight. The majority of Americans will not support his platform.
The American people have got the sort of government they want, a government that is willing to spend until it can't borrow any more, and then print money until the currency is worthless. Obama and his socialist friends will assist the public in looting the treasury until we're bankrupt, and then they will take our freedom. They will do all of that with the public's permission.

They've already got our freedom, Joe. Check out my "Back to the important stuff" thread.

All Democrats, thank Romney for his selection!!!!
The only thing this selection gives him, is the support of those who would have already voted for him

What's a rigjt? I couldn't find it in the urban dictionary.
I'm still not completely sure Obama is a marxist. He's acting much more like a fascist. But I really don't care for either one, and I'd still support Ron Paul, even if he was mistaken on this one point.

Our current situation, with the NDAA bill, reminds me of the movie "Independence Day" when the giant spaceships were all positioned over the big cities, but they hadn't attacked yet.

Go ahead a joke, but there will be no opportunity under the NDAA to bail anyone out. There is not even a requirement that anyone be informed that you have been taken. You will just disappear, and no one will know why.
You really think this is something to joke about? That is incredibly sad.
