August 1st catholics have to give up their religion.
The Contraceptive Mandate provision of Obamacare goes into effect today. This means that any organization, business, or religious institution must provide abortion and contraceptive services to their employees or pay a fine to the federal government. So you catholics had better get your heads right or risk offending the Muslim in Chief.
Effective by August 1, 2012 - All new plans must cover certain preventive services such as mammograms and colonoscopies without charging a deductible, co-pay or coinsurance. Women's Preventive Services – including well-woman visits, support for breastfeeding equipment, contraception and domestic violence screening – will be covered without cost sharing. This is also known as the contraceptive mandate. --Wikipedia
PPACA Coverage for abortifacients, contraceptives, and sterilizations
Main article: Contraceptive mandates
With the exception of churches and houses of worship, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act mandates contraceptive coverage for all employers and educational institutions. The mandate applies to all new health insurance plans effective August 2012. It controversially includes Christian hospitals, Christian charities, Catholic universities, and other enterprises owned or controlled by religious organizations that oppose contraception on doctrinal grounds. Regulations [24] made under the act rely on the recommendations of the Institute of Medicine, which concluded that birth control is medically necessary "to ensure women's health and well-being." --Wikipedia

That's the best thing I've heard today. Aside from IB Wankering having the "longing for my schlonging". This really is a good day.
Churches .. ESPECIALLY the Catholics have gotten a free ride long enough.
Pedophiles ,homophobes ,and science haters as a general rule.. IMHO.
As an atheist .. I respect ones right to believe what they wish.
I do not have to agree with those who worship their god, or think they are
Smart for doing so.

Just my opinion and I'm quite sure most won't agree.
That's ok.

You mean Roman Catholicism, the cult who incorporated Pantheism and Pagan ritualism as a recruiting tool back in the day? Gee, too bad for them.

Fuck the Church's and their free ride. They have turned into nothing but political PAC's. If they do anything political as a group, they should be taxed as any other business.
Tax'em like the rest of us!

Please excuse He-Showed-Shit-For-Avatar. He-Showed-Shit-For-Avatar is suffering from self-induced, (it's his aroma therapy in his "throne room") homo-erotic delusions. Would someone please direct this misguided shit-for-brains to the Another Realm Forum.

While the Catholic institutions get a pass on the mandate; the real issue is for private businesses which operate by Catholic values.......they comprise a signficant number of companies and employees and the Obama mandate is forcing them to act against their beliefs......
http://www.catholicbusinessnetwork.net/
You can bet they will be filing suit; and let's hope they get temporary injunction against the mandate until this can be fully litigated........they have already won in lower courts........
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012...-care-mandate/#
No doubt, this mandate is an unconstitutional violation of the 1st Ammendment..
FIRST AMMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
