Nice dress, 3 inch heels max, discrete hair and makeup and a well made and quiet color of bag and purse. I always tell my gentlemen and ladies how to find the elevators and how to find my room. And, if They are entertaining me I ask for the same information. Finally, with the above two items well in hand, I don't have any reason to look uneasy or sketchy to anyone on the hotel staff. I behave exactly the same in a hotel I'm staying at be it for business or pleasure. I walk with purpose and confidence, and smile and nod at staff if I'm not too caught up in my own thoughts.

Could it be the cameras?
A couple years ago I have a traveling provider and she stayed at an incall that had cameras all over the place in addition to electronic on the elevators and stairwells. She had to come down in the elevator to get me and made a big deal out of staying in the elevator camera's blind spot. I had to wait in the elevator a minute after she left it before I could walk to her room. Felt like I was in a bad spy movie.
She vowed never to go back to that hotel and since then when traveling I try to touch base ahead of time on hotels with local providers before picking the place to stay.

Katharine - good to know...now all I have to do is get down to the intersection of fantasy and reality and find another five-diamond hotel.

How did she know where the blindspot was? LOL
It goes without saying that most, if not all 4 and 5 diamond locations have security cameras - in all common areas. They are there to protect hotel property as well as guests. The "trick" is to look and act as though you belong there - Katharine Butler's description above is an excellent start. Personally, I prefer meeting my date in the lobby or as she arrives. A warm, socially acceptable greeting from a known guest goes a long way in curbing security concerns.
Back to the camera issue - did she know where the security cameras were that were in her room? LOL

If a provider is concerned about being confronted by hotel security, why not request the gentleman meet her in the hotel bar or outside the hotel? That way, the gentleman can escort her to his room. Security may have their suspicions but it could be one of several situations. It could be what it is-- provider/client, but it could also be husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, or a couple having an affair. To be honest, it should not be of any concern as to why two people are meeting and then going to a room. As mentioned before, just act like you belong. Acting nervous or erratic raises suspicion. Granted most of my hobbying is done at the Comfort Inn or LaQuinta, I have seen providers at 4 and 5 stat hotels with no problem.

Really glad you had such a wonderful visit after all Bigh1955 and Katharine's post was very well stated...Presentation and calmness along with just being blending to the atmosphere in a very professional and classy way is a plus! I went to a very upscale hotel outcall request a year ago and had a 2 hour jacuzzi room date, needless to say I passed by another lady provider on the way up since she was to visit a friend in a different room, well her whole "presentation" was VERY of question and had "stereotype" written all across it.Totally did NOT fit the atmosphere and stood out in a more negative way. I understand this but hey, what ever works for others may not work for me the same. We are all different. I did not judge her but the people around were definitely "noticing"

LOL, I don't know, the whole thing felt silly to be honest. Funny thing was the provider was my age, and I was dressed appropriately for the hotel. We wouldn't have looked out of place walking in together as a couple.
The first provider I saw was good about dressing for the place. When I was in a four star she showed up to the room in a nice dress. When I stayed at the Comfort Inn the short jeans skirt came out.
When I stayed in Vegas, I walked two different providers past the same security guard checking room keys within five minutes time. (The first provider attempted to hijack the woman I actually called appointment). I acted normal had my arm around the second girl and the security guard didn't even bat an eyelash.

I almost never hobby in my hometown. I like the convenience of outcalls to my hotel when traveling. I realize some ladies might not be comfortable with that and decline to see me. No problem.
Like a previous poster stated, I always give them the layout of the lobby, where the elevators are, etc so they can walk in looking as if they belong. I also always ask them to text me when they arrive at the hotel so I can leave the door ajar for them. Sucks like hell to be knocking on a door with security or maintenance giving you the eye. Knock, and come on in.
On the other side, I had a lady show up once--dressed a little over the top for a stroll through the hotel. But I figured no one really knew where she was going so I blew it off. When the session was over, she called the front desk from my room phone to request a taxi. So much for discretion.
Needless to say, never called her again.

I walk in like I own the place and head for the elevator. If I went the wrong way I take the stairs.

ditto with Barney===when i have a hotel incall,I will give the client the layout so he does not look like he is out of place
also I always advice a client taking a gift ....do not bring flowers....too obvious!
also if you have a gift, put it in a whole foods bag or a shopping bag

Oh yeah...the stairs look "normal". (No offense Kloie). Stairs are for people who are hiding (whether from maid or security). LOL Either that or those who want more exercise or who've unfortunately--missed the "elevator golden opportunity." (Maybe you "should" take the stairs...with the sexy curves you have, you're less likely to have guys stumbling over you as you walk down the hall).

A few years ago my date had a problem with her normal in-call and she got a room at a nearby 3 star hotel on short notice. When she checked in she told the staff that she was having an affair and that she wouldn't be staying too long. She met me outside and when we walked by the front desk she gave them a little wave and they winked back at her.
She was a cheeky little thing and it excited her to flaunt her naughtiness, and the staff could have not cared less.
I always try to have a bag of some sort so I looked like a traveler but quite frankly, at my age and with my business guy/professional look, security isn't going to bother me.
