Democrats Rename Bank of America Stadium
To put some teeth into their anti-corporate imagineering, the Democrat party has re-named the Charlotte, North Carolina, stadium where President Obama will accept his party's nomination from "Bank of America" stadium to "Panther" stadium. The official name of the stadium remains "Bank of America" stadium, but in official correspondence and press releases, it will now be referred to "Panther" stadium.
This shows the President's aggressive attack on corporatism is working. And it is in keeping with the President's policy calling things something other than what they are, and thinking that will make a difference.
No mention was made in the article if the "Greek Columns", so popular when crowning, er, that is, nominating President Obama at the last convention in Denver will be renamed "German Columns" so as to avoid any reference to the economic crisis in Greece, which this President seems determined to repeat.

Stories like this is why it has become difficult for me to take you seriously. When I first started reading this board I liked it. Now it seems that everything posted is some bogus crap that doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things and most threads seem to be a race to see who will call who an idiot first. No value is added by the name calling. I would prefer to see honest debate about issues of value, like some of the pre-decision Obama-care posts were.
Now it seems everything is just crap. So the release says Panther Stadium, why read anything into it. Maybe that is what the locals call it. Much like Met Life stadium is still called Giants stadium by many locals. This post is nothing but an argument on semantics and provides a means of bashing democrats in the hopes of starting another "your the bigger idiot thread."
Please go back to posting something useful, and for the COG bashers that are out there and reading this you have an equal part to play in why I posted this. The only reason that I picked on this thread is because COG claims to be a libertarian and I have higher standards for libertarians since I believe we should be above the petty name calling and finger pointing. I believe in attempting to convince the open minded amongst us with facts rather than what this thread represents.

I just thought this was funny. Not everything on here has to be life or death. This article made me laugh. Does it have any substance? No. It was just funny. I particularly liked my comments on the "Greek Columns", but that's just me.
Actually, the locals do call it Panther Stadium. If you'd read the article you'd know that. I still thought it was funny that the Dems had to make a big deal out of it. If they had just started calling it Panther Stadium in their documents, no one would have noticed or cared. Instead, they had to make an issue of it, and I thought it was funny.

It was Holder's idea, he loves some New Black Panther hate-mongering.

This is nothing new. The democratic party took an unrepentant, America hating terrorist and made him into a respected college professor. An emotionally unbalanced, corrupt plagarist and made him into a Vice President. An unqualified, unsuccessful community activist and made him into a President.
Wait!!! Don't you see it? Black Panthers, Carolina Panthers...how could they have known about each other when they named themselves? This must be some kind of conspiracy of the temporal variety.
