I can't argue about the $77K, he took advantage of a loophole; I just wonder what he did with it.
Is it hidden in some Cayman Islands bank account, or is it out in the economy, invested in business ventures which create American jobs?
Because if you believe the trickle-down theory, we should cut rich folks' taxes to almost nothing and the economy will miraculously fix itself overnight.

Actually, Couldntgetlaidifhetried, taxes are irrelevant at this point. Raise them, eliminate them - doesn't matter. What matters is SPENDING! We just can't go on spending like drunken Secret Service agents in Colombia and expect nothing bad to happen. It's the SPENDING, stupid!

Yes, you are the one to lecture about selective principles. This gets funnier every minute!

Way to hijack a good discussion with another one of your pea-brained remarks.
You just love sitting in front of your computer in your panties and bra making fun of other people, don't you?

Well, you're wrong about that, but I do feel bad that I violated the high standard of rational thought and respect for others that you model so well for the rest of us. I wouldn't ever want to offend any of your sensitivities, Cantrememberevergettinglaid.
Please accept my humble apology.

Something that a lot of people do not understand is that when you put money in a bank (with the exception of a safety deposit box) you are putting your money to work investing and creating jobs. Very large depositors make a LOT more money than the guy with a 0 balance at the end of the month. It does not matter if the money is in a Cayman account, Swiss account, or US bank account.
I really don't care where he invests his money as that is his business. What I hope is that he is able to fix the path this nation is going down to make it more lucrative to invest right here in the USofA. The idea is to make it rewarding rather than punitive to invest and do business on American soil. Is this something the Democrat party has done?

You are griping about a Republican that takes deductions made possible by a bill that was introduced by a Democrat and supported by the Democrats. What the fuck, and now you are bitching about it?
And to add, for those who do not understand the way taxes work...He had 77K in losses and deducted it from his taxes, he NEVER owed 77K. No telling how much he injected into the local economy to rack up that much in losses, but regardless, it was made legal by the Dems.
