Go see the movie. The movie is more about Obama than what 2016 will be like.
I personally believe that if Romney is elected it will get worse before it gets better BUT if Obama is ele3cted I am fairly certain it will never get better. I do not think that many people, in fact I think that there are very few people that understand to what extent he wants to fundamentally change this nation.
See the movie and decide for yourself.

WW - You are so naive. Still believe in the tooth fairy? I mean, you're taking Romney's word like he's really going to do something.

UB - Drilling, pipeline, heck, let oil companies do whatever they want, the price of oil is not coming down, period. The more oil the US puts in the market, the less oil OPEC will produce, keeping the prices artificially high. Republican supporters think that magically the oil companies will become patriotic and sell Americans cheap oil and not sell it in the global market where they could make larger profits. I tell you, these partisan hacks are just too naive.

We need the forever pessimist; keep posting IC........your depressing words of a downward spiralining path for America forces us (the thinking men and women) to appreciate the great leadership that America has been blessed to have during times of national test....and the extraordinary efforts of ordinary citizens.
It really comes down to your faith in America as a great country. The pessimist takes pleasure in saying America was never great, or her best days are behind her. The patriot knows otherwise.

But WW, the realist knows that unless things change, and change quickly, America, as we know her, will be lost forever. As long as we allow the tyrants to lull us into passivity through their inane entertainment, sports and religion, to buy us with promises of more products and services provided without cost from the government, and steal our freedom under the guise of "security", we will have no good days ahead. Only increasing tyranny.

we cant keep obama's world view as ours
we know what we have in obama and its not good.
we know where he wants us to go and its not good.
we know how imperial he is and how anti-constitutional he is and its not good.
we know his beliefs regarding freedom and liberty and hard work and truth and his racism and they arent good.
he's an incumbent and even thats not good.
so even if romney cant change things, and that has not one thing to do with "global" forces (unless you want to count the old workers of the world thing), but only progressivism in the united states, i say his election is good.

You get no arguement from me COG..............I agree 100%.
Let's turn the ship around first (Nov-2012), then you and I can discuss the path out of this mess. First priority is to avoid crashing shoreline. Agreed ?

Well, I don't think Romney is going to turn the ship around, but he might slow it just a little bit to give us time to avert disaster. So, with that said, I agree 100%

If Obama is elected we will hit the cliff within 5 years. No hope of avoiding disaster.........If Romney is elected, we have 10 years to avoid the cliff and set a new course.....Romney buys us valuable time to take the right course. With Obama disaster is inevitable.
Again, we agree?

Let me sum it up for you: 30 years of Gop/Dem leadership put us in this position. I give you credit for thinking positively, good for you. I live in the real world and I don't like what I see from either party. Let' talk in 2016 after Romney's first term and we'll see how much change he brought.

Definition for atheism: the doctrine or belief that there is no god.
Definition for religion: a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects.
Atheist who militantly advocate that their belief system is superior to and more preferential than that of people who have different beliefs and who further advocate that all others must change and believe as they do, puts them on par with the people they are criticizing.

We had a surplus, a humming economy, low unemployment, manageble debt just a few years ago.........then the GOP/Dems took us off the rails, accelerated by Obama the last 3......
You wouldn't be satisifed with that again ?
